As someone who's always plagued with self-doubt and getting their signals crossed, I was wondering how other romantic aces handle crushes. Sometimes I feel like an inept clown with all this... people can be so confusing, and I never know what to do! Can anyone relate? Do you have any strategies?

Rarely get crushes, but when i do, i mostly just keep it to my self lol. If someone liked me though, it would really depend on the person, and if i liked them back or not.

When I think I like someone, I wait around doing nothing about it until I can tell whether it’s a crush or a squish. If the feeling turns out to be a crush, I’ll generally ask the person out if I have a chance to talk to them alone. For some reason most of my crushes fade in a matter of days after I get rejected; I guess I’m lucky that way.

I have yet to have a crush, but my reaction to other people's crushes on me varies. I can be very hard to tell if people have a crush on you. I only know of one person ever to have a crush on me and I only learnt about the crush when she would continually attempt to make bizarre small talk with me and moved her seat from the back to directly in front of me.

 

I. If I do not like the person I enter nerd-mode. Sometimes when the crushist stops trying they think you of being gay though.

II. If I like the person I try to know them better.

 

Sadly though option II I listed is only hypothetical so far.

This poll is being locked and moved to the read only Census archive for it's respective year.
