Why are you asexual?

I'm not asexual for the same reason that the atheist - on his or her own terms - is not ignorant of God. To the atheist there is no God; to me there is no sexuality, hence there is also no asexuality.

 

I tried sex several times, partly to see if I didn't like it. I was right - I didn't and always knew I wouldn't.

 

Mainly though I tried having sex to see whether I could see what so many other people - let's be honest - most other people, see in it.

 

The last time I tried it the inner, esoteric experience I had (as opposed to the exoteric physical unpleasantness which I forced myself to go through) was - absolutely 'fcuking' amazing!   

 

For me it was rather like like the acid trip I had, i.e. perfect and therefore unrepeatable.

 

But all this was 'aye ages long ago' in a previous century and a previous millennium...

 

And to sum up that's why I'm asexual. Because I'm not. Because there's no such thing. Ditto sexuality.

 

But if your experience is different I'd roll with that If I were you. 

 

But then again I'm not. 

 

As they say these days, whatever!
