Nima Posted August 3, 2020 Share Posted August 3, 2020 grey hair is technically colorless. my theory is, that there's a point when the brain is on "defrag" mode and has to make space for more RAM. And during those defrag processes, some of the hair follicle programs to add melanin to the strands are terminated to make more space for more important things to remember. Things seem to get grey rather than awry. 🤍 Gaining more by the day, too, but since my hair is really long, there's still far more non-gray, all in all. Embraced it proudly, too, I like how it looks, and I've earned all of it, by sticking around for so long, after all. Sometimes, I have the, purely aesthetic, wish to colour my hair, but dark blue, dark green, dark purple, or all of the three, mermaid style, or, well, some kind of silverish greyish, idk, not to "hide the grey", and it probably would be just strands, anyway. But then, I can't be bothered, so it remains a "maybe, someday" thing. Grey is nice, I also like it on other people, and not just since it turned up in my own hair, either.
