Part of the pamphlet will include a picture/quote section, similar to the old one, but we'd like some new pictures and new quotes. If you've got a good quality face shot of yourself, and something interesting to say, please post a link to the picture as well as your quote here for consideration for inclusion in the pamphlet. :) Please keep your quotes short-- see the older version of the pamphlets here for an idea of length, and note that the images and quotes that are chosen will be printed and distributed on these pamphlets; please think carefully about whether or not you're comfortable with that before submitting something. Thanks for your help! [edit] we also need to request that you not use professionally taken photographs, unless you get written permission to do so from the photographer. They were gorgeous. (The posters were nice, too ;)) [edit]okay, really though--the old pamphlets seemed to have a lot of "yay life is great without sex" stuff, but it read sort of like an abstinence brochure. Could we try to go for a bit more of a "yay life is great, I personally don't understand the fuss about sex" angle? Does that make any sense whatsoever? Link to post Share on other sites

As for us on AVENde we have translated the last pamphlets into German and made 5000 copies of them, which are now still being handed out eg. from a booth on a pride fair we are going to entertain within 10 days from now. We took our own pictures and quotes though, but that was everything that changed. If you do not mind - and I will ask you this again once the new pamphlets are done - I could imagine that the German subforum might want to translate them into German again and offer them to the interested folks. And with a closer international cooperation the other subforums might translate into their respective languages, too. Link to post Share on other sites

I'm guessing it will be, but I'll make note of that in the project team just to be sure. xaida, I'd be happy to hand over a copy of the pamphlet I'm designing when I'm finished, if you'd like to translate and add quotes and pictures from your own forum members. 'I never realized asexuality was what set me apart from my peers- my sex ed classes reassured me everyone felt sexual attraction, and who was I to doubt that? However, I always felt like the odd one out when it came to dating and sex- I just wasn't interested. It wasn't until I found AVEN that I was truly aware of how different I was.
