Selise
So, I guess I just have a lot of confusion regarding asexuality. I've always been put off by the idea of being intimate with someone I guess, but I have done things in the past to please the other person. I thought for the longest time I was a lesbian but after I turned 18 last year I started to seriously question things. I've never liked being sexual with someone, or others making innuendos or mentioning it but I do like other aspects of relationships like being emotionally close to someone and cuddling. Could someone just please give me some advice?
TheAP
It sounds like you may be asexual. Liking emotional closeness and cuddling is romantic/sensual attraction, not sexual, so that doesn't disqualify you from being asexual.
