Everything is a metaphor for life game!

Life is like not wearing a jacket in the winter: old people always want to know why you don't have one, what are you doing with yours, when is your jacket going to have kids, etc...

All the little Lights

Life is like the singing of an owl at daytime. It's strange, you don't understand it and it's not the way you think it should be. But it's also out of your control, you just need to deal with the song of the owl at daytime. And it can both be beautiful and awful.

Life is like being in your pajamas. Sometimes comfortable, but you're not going to be prepared for everything that happens when you leave the house.

Life is a set of teeth. Some are ugly, some are taken good care of, many are real, but quite a few out there are complete fabrications. One thing they all have in common, though, is that they bite.

Placemats.

Life is like placemats. Some are nice and strong, while others are frayed and falling apart. Some placemats are able to protect the table of vulnerability inside us, others are do damaged to be useful. But all placemats matter and with the right care all pacemapts can be come strong and beautiful.

Toys

Life is like toys.   Don't spend your life in a glass box, like a limited edition collector's toy because you are afraid that your paint will chip or your stuffing will come out or you'll get a smudge of dirt on you.  Life is meant to be lived as toys are meant to be played with.  The best ones are all a little battered because they are taken on holidays and have names and stories and are loved.  Look after  yourself and the toys you care about so you can all last as long as possible.  But always remember to play, because those four glass walls will press in on you if you're not careful.

Life is like lint. No matter how long you try to escape, there is always a subtle reminder of where you’ve been and what is to come. Even though you may feel like you have “won” in the moment, it always comes back to haunt you. You have to learn to let go of the little things and just enjoy whatever life throws at you, even when it’s not pretty.

Life is like a decorative pillow. It’s best to set it aside before you sleep and not worry about it until morning.

Life is like a cup cawfee. It can be sweet, it can be cold and sometimes it can be stale. One thing is for certain it will keep you on the run(s).

Life is full of shoes. You may have many to choose from, or only a single pair. There will always be someone who has prettier shoes than yours. What matters is where you go when you put them on.

Life is like a hot bath. By the time you figure out the perfect temperature, the hot water tank runs out of water and you have to settle for whatever temperature you can get.

Life is like au jus sandwiches. It’s messy, it’s soggy, but it’s really tasty if you just ignore all that and enjoy it.

Life is like a haunted house.  Scary, dark at times, never knowing what is round the corner, but with courage you can get through.

Life is like a jelly filled donut.

Decidedly dry and bland if you only stick to the surface of what you know, but bursting with colour and flavour if you're willing to dig deeper.

Life is like walking with one sandal. If you don't pay attention, the lopsidedness will keep you walking in circles.

Writing this metaphor for life on deuterium is like life. You have no idea what you’re doing but you have to move on anyway. (And life is occasionally stable...?😂)

You are the second star to the south if someone else acquired a Fake Ted before you did.

Life is like trying to light a candle outside on a windy day.

Life is like trying to light a candle outside on a windy day.  It's difficult.  It's frustrating.  It sucks.  You keep trying and trying, striking the match, but it keeps burning out and you can't see what you're doing.  It's dark.  You're cold.  You're running out of matches.  You're tired of trying.  If you don't get this fire lit you'll never find your way, never find happiness, never learn what it means to be human.  But the wind is so strong, and the flame is so small, it seems like an exercise in futility.  Until your friends come along.  And stand together.  And block the wind.  Maybe, if you put your candles together, you can make a torch.

Life is like the tune that's stuck in your head. It can be extremely annoying, but also strangely addictive, and it will go away in its own good time.
