Extrovert/ Introvert

Ambivert. I like my peace and quiet, but at the same time I like listening to other people's opinions, they fascinate me. I only enjoy conversing with people who are talented, smart and different, though. For example, someone who developed their own technique in drawing, or a classmate that's a physics genius.

Your theory is interesting, but maybe also has something to do with what kind of attraction we feel? I can't speak for anyone else but I mostly feel intellectual attraction towards people, and I keep people I'm attracted to close and give them almost all my attention. I form few but strong emotional bonds. I'm extremely extrovert in front of my close friends but when acquaintances talk about downright useless and silly things, I try hard not to fall asleep and afterwards I meditate to recharge.

Ugh, sorry. How do you delete extra posts? I'm hopeless when it comes to computers

I'm an introvert. I have a very good time with friends and family when we do something, but at the end of the day I need some time to do alone things like reading and listening music. If I don't have it, it can be tiring and spoils the super good fun I had (because I leave on a tired note)

very much introverted here. I've learned to function in an extroverted world, but I need the quiet and alone time to recharge my internal batteries

I’m an introvert. I barely ever talk (except when I’m on here). I really like to be alone (but I do want to be in a QPR). I like quietness (and classical music). Not a fan of big or even small social events. And, I hate crowds and noise. Not a fan of arguing and fighting either. I just really like tranquility. And, I always appreciate my “alone time”. I’m also terrible a public speaking and presenting. I basically die every time something like that happens. I just can’t do it. I’m too quiet and shy.

Definitely an Introvert. As much as I love socialising with friends, after two-three hours I'm genuinely tired and need time to recharge.

Also good to know the recharge thing is a re-occurring trend with all the introverts here ahaha #mypeople

I am most definitely an introvert. I mentally shut down in large group settings and/or loud places and I need my alone time. But I do get super talkitive around people I feel comfortable with in a quiet space. I would say my social skills are decent I guess.

Introverted. I rarely associate with people. But I do need those rare times, or I will end up crazy.

Socially competent introvert. I am capable of navigating social situations and I'm pretty good at reading people, but I find socializing exhausting and I need to have alone time to not go insane.

introvert, but I'm leaning towards ambivert as I grow older. I used to be a strong introvert in my teens and early 20s, though.

Pretty much introvert. I like to spend time with some people, but optimally only a couple of hours at a time.

Same here :)

A proud introvert. I have to be “on” so much for work that the majority of my free time is best without human interaction. Lol!

Introvert but I fool people often because I they confuse introversion with shyness. Not shy at all and I am often very social because of my volunteer work. But battery life is on depletion after an hour or so...kinda assumed most on this site would be introverted due to the nature of forums.
