When I was a teenager I had some crushes but never acted on them, and as I got older I just thought I hadn't met the right guy. As more and more of my friends started having sexual relationships I felt weirder about not doing it, and as I made new friends in adulthood who I hadn't grown up with it was easier to just pretend I had experience to fit in. I've been on some dates with men before and done some sexual things which were at best tolerable and at worst painful and frightening. In the past few months I've been reading about asexuality and I think I might be a heteroromantic asexual or demisexual, but I haven't talked about it with anyone else. Im a newbie here but Ive been living this way for 11 years now and im pretty sure i fall into the Heteroromantic Asexual so if you want to chat to me about anything Ive experience Ill try and help where I can.
