smack12776 Posted February 18, 2018 Share Posted February 18, 2018 These are great pictures! I love the wild flowers and the small marsupials! So cute and clever-looking they are. The koala's are exquisite. Pic #40874 with the one spread out on the ground reminds me of myself! I was just watching a video on Brut Nature about the little axolotl! How they change color from their natural habitat (where they are brownish-green) to the pink or white color when in captivity. And their abilities to regenerate are astounding. Travel time is 7 Hours and 50 Minutes . 9 feb - Reached there around early afternoon (Sydney time) . Went shopping . 10 feb - Went to a flea market (can't remember the name) . And went to Sydney Tower Eye to see the evening sky (was there for a couple of hours from late afternoon til evening) . 11 feb - Went to flea market at The Rocks and went to Darling Harbour . Went to post office to mail postcards lol Visited Madame Tussads Wax Museum , Sea Life aquarium and a mini zoo . 12 feb - Went on day trip to Blue Mountains . Visited the national park and did a hike . Went to a wildlife park (Featherdale) and saw lots of animals . 13 feb - Went to a museum . Visited St. Mary's Cathedral . Wanted to visit a war memorial but was under construction . 14 feb - Went to fish market (was super fishy !) . Went to a casino/mall but there was nothing much there . Went to the amazing Evanescence concert that night !! 15 feb - Flew home on an afternoon flight . Reached around night time (local time) . * - I think I have visited the Opera house in advance the same day I went to Darling Harbour . - I did a lot of shopping so not going to mention that . - There are a lot of cool street entertainers and I got to interact with one of them . - There a lots of homeless people too and I managed to give a little money to a guy who had a dog , and I got to pet the dog !! - I was going into a shopping center when I saw two dogs being tied to a handrail outside the place (oh poor dogs) , random people were petting the dog (lol) , so I did too !!
