Frogster
I'm an old person (female)(almost 64) who has been kind of clueless and baffled by sexual stuff most of my life. Started out as a child prostitute for survival-had no idea it was supposed to be pleasant. Thought I might be a lesbian and tried that for about 20 years-pretty much the same just different equipment. Then I tried marriage-same. It seemed like sex was an obligatory part of any relationship, sort of like a cover charge so I paid. But the more people insisted that I enjoy it and the more they tried to fix me the more I disliked it. I am not new to knowing that I am not into sex. I am very new to the idea that i am not broken and do not need to be fixed. I thought there might be a place here where I could try to see myself and the world differently. Thought I'd try anyway. Lia
Hello there, and welcome to AVEN! As part of my welcome to you, I'd like to point out some important threads that might be helpful in your first few days here. The Terms of Service is here. We recommend you read it over, and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to send either myself or any other administrator or moderator (the "admod" team, as we're called) a message. Also, there's a handy forum called Site Info, which has some useful information including a thread outlining who moderates which forum. If you ever need something done in or have questions about a specific forum, please message the mod of that forum. And if you have problems with the site in general, or any single member, please message any admod. The following are also nifty links to take a look at: Welcome Lounge Mini Manual | Welcoming 101 | Quick Guide to the Forums | Asexuality FAQ's Again, welcome to AVEN and I hope your stay is everything you hoped! It makes me really happy to read things people have written, things I have felt and said in my life too. Only here they aren't crushed.
