CaleCaesar
Damn! Hoisted by my own petard! Actually I wasn't. I just like that phrase. In reality, I was the victim of a cheap ending. (Much like in stories: "And then I woke up and realised it was all a dream" or "and then everyone got nuked and died, the end") Don't open the champagne bottles quite yet, however. I'll be back...after I finish my biscotti...

Brodertun
I'm beginning to think that this welcome thread will still be ongoing next year. Oh, and as the resident car here, I resent the implication that someone will be hit with a car. She can however be hit with a rocket, spaceship, airplane, bicycle, or skateboard. And charlie, you best hope that wasn't my car you attempted to squich - my cows will eat you if it was.
Charlieee
Nahhh, it was the half-car from my auto class last year :D (the year before they cut off everything behind where the front seats are, and put wheels right there, and it still ran and everyone drove it around...) SonicBoom830
I know. Isn't it wonderful. We've touched on so many hard-hitting political issues. Such as, holographic people and the lives they will soon lead. My ever-growing hated of anything cake related. (ugh, I kinda just threw up a little just saying it)........And newspapers.... Brodertun
Awww, don't worry sonic, you spend enough time here you'll grow to love You know they say you eat a food ten times and you'll start to like it, no matter how much you hated it the first time (I learned that about the 4th time i subbed during the nutritional program at a school) So just have a few more bites, you;ll eventually be begging for it
SonicBoom830
If I was around during the whole "let them eat cake" time period, I would have thrown my shoe at Marie Antoinette...even if it wasn't her that said it.

Brodertun
*throws ketchup packet* My sophomore year, we boycotted school lunch because they would only let us take one packet of ketchup with our lunch, then would only let us buy two extra, and would not allow us to bring in a bottle of ketchup. Meanwhile the elementary students (K-3) were allowed four packets of ketchup with their lunch. (Can you guess who started the petition that mentioned when the boycott would take place?) I was amazed that only 15 people bought lunch the first day during my lunch period (being the largest lunch period we probably had 200 kids in lunch c), and most of the ones who got lunch were the free lunch kids. Though I do feel bad for the couple 7th graders who got out of the lunch line because they were afraid the older kids would beat them up for buying lunch (that kind of thing never happened, but the 6th grader teachers always did a good job of convincing the incoming 7th graders of how the hs students were bullies) The boycott was made even more "sweet" by the fact that it was pizza day, one of the best selling lunches. Unfortunately since the petition disappeared into oblivion when George gave it to a kid to give to me, I'm not sure the cafeteria people ever knew why no one was buying lunch that week.
