School Subjects/Colors

Um, is it weird I don't associate colors with subjects? I thought real hard about it, but I associate complex pictures with the subjects, rather than a color. So I chose other for all of them. 

 

When I think of math, I picture equations. 

When I think of science, I think of TONS of things.

History makes me think of black and white photos.

English makes me think of text in general.

Other languages are like English, but it's in Japanese.

Math ist definitely blue

English is black

Science is... Well physics is White, biology is Green and chemistry is Yellow

History is Brown

Languages... Well, German is Red and French is Pink

Portuguese (my native language) - Blue

English - Yellow

French - Pink

History - Brown

Geography - Blue and Green

Philosophy - Grey

Biology - Green

Chemistry - Purple

During my freshman year of high school I had a binder for each subject in the following colors:

Math - dark blue (I don't know why, blue just seemed like a good color for it)

Science - green (it seemed like a fitting color for biology, which is what I was taking that year)

English - pink (my favorite subject and my favorite color at the time)

History - purple (my second favorite subject and my second favorite color at the time)

Spanish - light blue (I don't know why, blue just seemed like a good color for this one too)

I have associated the subjects with those colors ever since. Purple tends to be the color for other social sciences as well, although last semester I took 3 social science classes, so I made my notes for one purple, and the other two were yellow and blue.

I wonder how many, like me, chose the colour of the exercise books used at school?
