analogy for sexual/asexual relationships AND link to survey

I've been trying to find a particular post on this board to no avail, and I can't recall the poster's name, so I figured I would just go ahead and ask...

A while ago, a sexual man was describing his relationship with his asexual wife, and he said something to the extent of, "It's like an attractive blind woman asking her husband to never look at her out of respect for her blindness."

Though I myself am not sexual, it struck me as a very effective analogy for what non-asexual partners experience.

[EDIT]: I figured I would just add this to my existing post to avoid spamming the board. I am conducting a survey on relationships containing at least one asexual, and I would greatly appreciate getting some responses from the sexual partners in Asexual/Sexual relationships.
