AussieIsAce Posted September 4, 2017 Share Posted September 4, 2017 we need some more asexuals on youtube, talking about life as an ace and other ace things. i would make a channel but i dont want to come out to my whole extended family as ace just yet. id love to watch someone talk about there struggles and how they over came those boundaries. if someone were to make videos about being ace would you be as keen to watch as me? Chris Zulas Posted September 4, 2017 Share Posted September 4, 2017 A couple asexual YouTubers who don't talk about asexual stuff: Mysterious Mr. Enter reviews animation. A lot of people don't like him because he gets pretty harsh about things people don't think are worth it and is really kinda uptight about animation and his tastes, but IMO he's not that bad. Red from Overly Sarcastic Productions, a great channel that teaches in a fun and digestible about mythology, story-telling tropes and more from Red, and history and more from Blue, both parts of the channel written by these two who love animation, games, movies, comics and all that nerdy crap. They're both cool people, but Red is an asexual panromantic, which was cool to find out about her. I find these lists of asexual YouTubers never seem to include people who don't talk about asexuality as a main focus which is a shame, I'd love to see more ace people like me but I also really like cartoons and games and stuff and for those aces who kinda have that part of their life figured out watching Asexualize Your Asexual Life doesn't hold much for me. If you watch any of those you're likely to get suggestions at youtube to view others (sometimes though that function skews the topic). I pored over videos there when I first realized I was Ace.
