Islander9
O- ta dah! (ee hee!) A totally unspecified present to THE FIRST OLDER AVENITE TO OFFER THE BEST REASON FOR GROWING OLDER! ("Not being dead" is disallowed, sorry!) Just submit sugestions for the next fortnight- I am judge & jury, and guarentee the prezzie is worth it. To start the ball rolling: when I was really young, I thought sweetened condensed milk (Nestles anyone?) was the ultimate treat. Now I think sashimi from locally caught bluefin tuna is - IT-
KAGU143
O-ta dah! (ee hee!) A totally unspecified present to THE FIRST OLDER AVENITE TO OFFER THE BEST REASON FOR GROWING OLDER! To start the ball rolling: when I was really young, I thought sweetened condensed milk (Nestles anyone?) was the ultimate treat. Now I think sashimi from locally caught bluefin tuna is - IT- Not being dead isn't a good enough reason?? ... darn. Well, I would like to live to get a lot older because ... *ponders* At 50-something I am only NOW beginning to make sense of my life and truly enjoy it. Up until I found AVEN I had never found a place where I felt like I fitted in. My entire life was a lie that I had contrived so that I could seem to be reasonably "normal" on the surface. Granted, I stretched the limits of "normal", but still ... I want plenty of time to live honestly, and for the first time ever to enjoy the companionship of friends I can actually identify with on more than superficial levels. I know that there can't ever be as much time as I would like, but I still want as much as possible. -Greybird
mackat5
Hhmmmm....let's see now. Enjoying the good friends that I have made along the way, and meeting so many new folks. Learning that love is sooo much more than what we think it is. Also, enjoying all that dark chocolate. My drug of choice!!!!!
