My room mate last year had a fetish for scat porn. I walked in on him masturbating to it a few times. I do NOT want to know where he got it. On those occasions, I had to run out of the room, and overcome a wave of nausea.

I've seen it. I was in my late teens the first time. Meh. It's just mechanics that close up, anyway.

My main thought was: Wowwee--why would anyone want to do THAT?

Followed closely by: Those can't be real.

I do not know how people can watch some of this stuff without getting sick.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'hard-core porn'. My first experience with pornography was a camp-out with some friends. This was when I was in ninth grade, or perhaps a little earlier, in eighth. They were passing around copies of a magazine. I had a natural curiosity, but once the "Wow, I shouldn't be looking at this" high had worn off, it didn't really matter. Most pornography is repulsive (if God made us in his own image, he's rather homely) to me, so I don't look at it online. When I got older and realized there was little difference between gazing at pictures of women and people judging me by the way I looked, my desire to look at that stuff waned considerably. All the stuff I've seen has been still photographs, and I've never been interested in seeing actual intercourse.

Found my brother's stash on the family computer, so that was the first time to see any. It was in with all the other videos and stuff, so I came across it while cleaning out useless media files.

I mean, I was mildly traumatized when I found it, because my brain went "OMG penis?!" but now it wouldn't really bother me. I just have no interest in the stuff, and I've always wondered what the big deal about it is, from the people who love it and the people who hate it.

My now ex-gf can blame me for exposing her to it.

This is why porn should never be done in the house. Glad I'm not a midgrade fetish porn star anymore.

I looked for it at 18 out of curiosity. It neither aroused me nor disgusted me..just puzzled me. Same when we had "blue movies" at army stag nights. These were REALLY "blue". Scotland yard (London's Police HQ) was just down the road from us and in return for an invitation for some of them to come to the stag nights they would send us a box of "confiscated" material. Again..interesting but I couldn't understand how anyone could find it arousing in any way.

I also searched it for it on the Internet once to satisfy curiosity, but I was absolutely repulsed!!!! It was all disgusting. I have never looked at it again and have absolutely no desire to. If other people find sex desirable, that's fine for them, but porn scarred me for life (probably because much of it is over the top)

I saw hardcore porn when I was either 21 or 22, back when I was a cabdriver in Houston. It ... *ahem* ... involved a dog!

If nudie pictures like Playboy and etc. count then I was MUCH younger ... probably still in elementary school. I remember a friend who knew where his big brother hid the "dirty" magazines and he loved to sneak in there, get them, and show them to everybody.

Even back then I didn't see what all the fuss was about, at least as far as Playboy-type stuff is concerned.

I have a facination with all things wrong and disturbing, and while I prefer non-sexual disturbingness, as part of my quest I've been exposed to things that would destroy a lesser mind. Goatses, Lemonparties, and Tubgirls, oh my!

...but that's only developed in the last couple years. Before the age of 21 I never looked at anything willingly.

I wasn't allowed on the Internet until I escaped at age 18. But I sure as heck was writing it before then.

I saw it by the time I was 13. I was curious, had these grand ideas about the stuff, but when I actually saw it, I kind of blinked at it. I wondered what was so great about it. Never went and actively sought out porn since. Sometimes I stumble across it, but I don't have much interest in it.

Seen it along with another fellow male and alone. First time I saw it was mild-porn (I was 19yo) when I rented a film from local video shop because I was trying to figure out my sexuality. I sat through it alone hoping for something which might arouse me in some way but it didn't at all. Next time was quite a few years later (I was 34yo) when I was with a friend who was trying to figure me out. I'd say it was hard-core porn and it made me feel physically sick watching it, so I had to pretend I was watching it when in fact I couldn't even look at it.

Come to think of it, I have been exposed to quite a bit of porn through several housemates over the years. One of my current housemates occasionally plays porn up on her computer in the background when we have people over for a drink and a chat (and we happen to be in the study at the time). I'm the only one who seems to be bothered by it. When that happens, I always beg everyone to explain why they download it and want to watch it, and where the appeal is... no one's given me a satisfactory answer yet. I usually just leave the room after a few minutes of trying to ignore it. Also one of my housemates a few years watched waaay too much hentai... in the loungeroom.

I just don't get the point?? It's so fake, and it's always so focused on specific body parts (argh closeups!). There's nothing attractive about that (to me)! I've been pretty much desensitised to it by now, if anything I find it hilarious and disgusting at the same time. All it does for me is highlight how unattractive/gross the human body can be. I really don't need reminding. *shudder*

Man it just really confuses me.

No. The "farthest" I've seen is yaoi manga  The one I was reading the other day went as far as a blow job. But that's it.

I have seen pictures on the net though I have never seen video. I used to try and masturbate to it, but I was actually less aroused while looking at the picture as opposed to closing my eyes and concentrating on what I was doing!

I saw my first porn when I was about ten - a friend and I sneaked some from her dad's collection. I found it interesting, and still do on occasion. I don't get any pleasure from it, and sometimes seeing porn makes me feel a little awkward, but for the most part it's just another opportunity to observe humans and try to understand these things that they enjoy.

I've seen the net stuff, and as it has been with most of the people who have posted here, it puzzled me as to why someone would seek it out.

I think I first saw hardcore porn when I was 18. A guy I worked with/for had downloaded some, and he showed it to me for a laugh. I thought it was kind of amusing, although I didn't see the sexual appeal of it.

I also took a college course on Film & Censorship two years ago, in which we watched some actual pornography as well as non-porn films containing explicit sex. We read a book called Hard Core: Power, Pleasure and the Frenzy of the Visible which was specifically on pornography, trying to break down the various elements of porn and discuss them in a social context. Great class, might I add. Fascinating from an intellectual perspective, and I'm pretty sure it also served to desensitize everyone in the room when it came to depictions of sex acts. Graphic violence can still shock me, but sex barely makes me bat an eye these days.

(For purposes of this question, I'm defining hardcore porn as porn that contains graphic depictions of actual penetrative sex. Faked sex and dirty pictures I'd count as softcore, and I probably saw those at a younger age.)

I find porn hilarious. It neither arouses me nor disgusts me.

Seriously, have you ever watched hentai with the English subtitles on? (At a friend's house...) They try spelling out all the the goofy noises that are taking place!

It's just silly to me.

Reading trashy romance novels was considered a healthy pastime for a teenage girl by my mom, so from thirteen onward I read plenty of erotica. I skipped over the sex scenes, but the happy endings and the two dimensional characters placed in interesting situations made for some nice turn-the-brain-off reading, so I continued on with them.

I didn't really seek out anything more hardcore until around age fifteen. It was mostly out of curiosity and I was more amused than anything, but I liked some of it. Not "liked" in a sexually aroused sense, but "liked" as in asethetic appreciation or interest in a poorly constructed but strangely fascinating plot line.

I actually had a job in a porn/sex-toy shop for a while lol (yea pretty odd for an asexual I guess) they had porn going on the tv screens in the corners most days, I also have had a friend who ownes a sex-shop that I used to go into to chat with.

Watched it for the first time when I was 12 (on TV, late night on my own when my parents were sleeping). I looked for it, as I was curious to see what everyone else was talking about. It left me quite surprised as I found it so mechanical and feelingless, I did not understand what the appeal was.

I have seen glimpses of it again later on a few times and still felt nothing about it, so I find it boring / pointless.
