@Piotrek

I didn't really do a review of channels, just remember that one and checked if had subtitles. I have tons of things in mind now, but if I don't post again, it's possible that I just forgot to do a review, if you remain me in few days I may check again. :P

Sorry, my bad. I forgot to mention that you should preferable stick to one or two kind of accents/linguistic variations while being a beginner learner; despite it's the same (Spanish) you could get a bit confused if you are just starting to learn. Pick journalist, teachers/professor/lecturers, people that work in the radio, they normally have a better understanding of their own language.  If you are from US, you'll notice that the media there would consider the Mexican -of course- the most neutral accent, NOT! lol, actually most neutral one would be those I recommended (journalists).

This guy, Jorge Ramos, Mexican,  could be a good help, also the one he's interviewing too, Andrés Oppenhimer, Argentinean. My recommendation it's because they are good at speaking, not necessarily  because of the content. The video I'm posting doesn't have good subtitles, but it's for you to see them and if you like the way they speak, you can search them on Youtube.

@Piotrek Spanish YouTube isn't nearly as elaborate as french YouTube for some reason, but I have managed to find some things. Did you mean you wanted subtitles in English, or subtitles in the target language? (I tend to think having subtitles in the target language is better for learning a language, but that probably differs per person)

I haven't actively looked for Spanish content in years, and the wifi is really bad where I am right now, so I can't watch YouTube videos to check whether the channels I'm recommending have subtitles or not. I will probably edit in more stuff into this post when I'm back home, but you'll have to do with this for now haha.

comedy:

https://www.youtube.com/user/HolaSoyGerman (super popular YouTuber, number 2 most subscribed to channel in the world, I think he has subtitles, but can't check right now, he stopped making videos on his main channel, but his less official gaming channel is still being updated. Those videos don't have subtitles and aren't that funny though.

https://www.youtube.com/user/lasupercafetera (Channel that makes mini-movies, it's about a coffee machine that randomly gives a group of friends a different superpower every day.)

https://www.youtube.com/user/VideopatasHumor (they just do skits about everything and nothing. They talk really fast though, so maybe save it for later. Although I guess you could just make YouTube play it more slowly.)

sciency stuff

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC18HCbwb8eF2OCkS_5x621Q (official discovery channel YouTube channel, if anything has subtitles it should be this one. It's just pop-science news.)

https://www.youtube.com/user/minutodefisica Spanish version of MinutePhysics

https://www.youtube.com/user/MinutoDeLaTierra Spanish version of MinuteEarth

https://www.youtube.com/user/QuantumFracture Dude from Spain who likes explaining cosmology. Has cool graphics.

Honestly though when I was actively learning Spanish I wasn't watching YouTube but Spanish dubbed American TV Series, because in those they speak a lot more clearly and slowly than YouTubers do. I watched the entirety of 'the mentalist', 'charmed', 'avatar the last airbender' and 'once upon a time' and a bunch of Disney movies  (they're great because you already know exactly what's going on, they're easy to find in any language and they're meant for kids so characters speak clearly) for free online in Spanish with Spanish subtitles, and it was surprisingly easy to understand. I understood it even when I hadn't actually studied Spanish at all yet. Anti-piracy things have made it harder to find these things for free online, but just google '(insert Spanish title of your favorite american tv series) streaming online gratis temporada 1' and see what pops up.

Aaaaand some music :)

@Iam-me

Thanks a lot :) I'm not a beginner, though I suppose I forgot a lot of what I once knew. Also, I am from Poland. As for Mexican Spanish, I noticed that DL mostly uses this variety, hence I hardly ever saw "vosotros" there. My Spanish tutors were almost all from Spain (not surprisingly, since it's the same continent :D ).

@Laurann

I meant subtitles in Spanish (for SPanish content) /Italian (for Italian content). I agree these are the most useful.

If I'm asked my opinion I would say (unless you are from Europe) not learning Spanish from Spain :P, but you are there so...
