zbot108
Hi! I'm looking forward to marching in San Francisco's Pride Parade on Sunday, June 25, and I'd like to solicit ideas for making a flier. Here's what I have so far: What does "asexual" mean? We're just more interested in other things! Many of us still like to play, but don't want to go all the way. We do desire intimate relationships, just without the sex. ****** Why are you marching in Pride Parade? To raise awareness and build our community! Asexuals often feel "broken" compared to the rest of society -- until they learn they're not alone. ****** We also want to help family and friends learn how to be supportive, and help each other navigate relationships with non-asexual partners. ****** What else should I know about asexuality? [no answer yet] --------------------------------- Please help me with ideas, and I thank you for your feedback! Nilambari
invis
maybe mention something about how asexuals occasionally have same sex relationships, or identify as trans, etc? I know there can be some pushback about how asexuality fits into the lgbt community. and I think addressing that asexuality is another faucet of identity, and does not impact who you love, just how you love, could help..?
