Bella the friendly kitten
I would suggest you simply tell her. If she really is your best friend, then she will likely be very understanding, even if she doesn't feel the same way about you. It's better to just have the truth out. dissolved
Test the water first - ask her how she feels about same sex relationships etc. Or, you could twist it around to check what she thinks of admitting crushes etc. Talk to her about someone who admitted to having a crush on you and maybe say you're glad they told you. She might well agree with you, in which case it's possibly something to tell her, or she might react negatively, in which case it's probably best for you to accept it's not a good idea. FerlynnGoldbeard
Does she even know that you're asexual? That could be a good starting point. Describe it and discuss relationships and feelings in general, and see how she responds. If you do date, it's going to come out eventually.
