licasatokeane
I also feel that the questions on morals, especially purity and the role of the father, is very specific to American Culture and would probably receive very different answers in european culture You're right that it is more prevalent in American culture. What about European culture do you believe would make the results different? Is there a large asexual population in Europe from what you know of? Mostly the sexual orientation question, because I feel that Asexuality has more to do with sexual activity while homo/heterosexuality describes sexual or romantic attraction. the gender question, especially for transpeople would be better to answer in a spectrum than a single answer. And I think Atheism and No Religion is exactly the same. It was still the best Survey on this topic I have seen so far Homo/hetrosexuality is sexuality. Homo/hetroromatic is romantic orientation. Also, some people have no religion but don't identify as atheist. Yes they are the same thing, but that's how people are. Thanks for your feedback! Done. But skip some, dont remember wich now. Thank you for participating! Thank you for taking time answering to all of us... I hope this surfey will help everyone... All the Best! Me too! I enjoy answering your questions. It helps me find flaws and things I did well so I can better organize in the future.
licasatokeane
So... what's the One Ring Model? I assume it has nothing to do with hobbits. :-) Lol @polaroid I cannot tell you on the forum because it may skew results if participants already know what I am looking for. However, I can send you my thesis in an email if you have already taken the survey or do not plan on taking the survey. P.S. The title was based off of Lord of the Rings actually :)

redluvr
I found the question pertaining to 'which of the following acts constitutes loss of one's virginity' a bit problematic as I thought there were definitely more than one on the list that met the criteria. It was nice that you included an 'other' box for that one.

zoom
Done. Maybe it is because I am Eastern European, but I feel that the "purity questions" are incomplete - I rarely see (around me) the opinion "woman should be a virgin on wedding night", but I often see the opinion that "people who don't have sex before they get married are idiots because what if they find out that they don't like each other sexually?" and bashing of people who don't try to live together before getting married or "getting serious" (e.g. moving together in an apartment that's already mortgaged, not rented). I don't know if it's related to your research, though. But the spectrum is definitely broader than "let's stone those whores who have premarital sex - premarital sex is perfectly OK". Same goes e.g. for women not expressing their enjoyment during sex (and I think that it is related to the sexual-asexual relationship, because some people say "I am OK with having sex, but I am not willing to play a theater and moan and act like a pornstar") - one extreme consider it being decent and having good morals, other extreme think "she is just lying there like a piece of meat" and "she was just lying under me like a mattress". The "victim blaming" questions also have opposite extreme, e.g. I personally consider high level of drunkness as a proof of rape (biological evidence of sex + witnesses who say that the person was totally drunk = 100% proof), because if the person was unable to give consent (drunken babbling cannot be considered "consent"), the it was obviously rape. Etc.

Slice of Ace
I believe that I may have answered entire pages completely contrary to how I felt. Oops. Yeah, I'm worried I did this too. I think I did it right, but the positive and negative sides kept switching around. Other than that, it was a good survey, and I'm glad that awareness is being spread.
