There's currently a thread running on the usenet group soc.sexuality.general called What makes someone asexual? Several posters independently mentioned AVEN, positively. One says he's probably A himself, another has a wife who is probably A. They're generally a good group (I post there myself at times). So as not to stress people's browsers with the very long URL, you'll can find the thread quite near the top of current discussions. Of course you should be over 18 to read ssg - they do have an adult content warning (although this particular thread is not R rated.

If you don't know how to access usenet, the easiest way is Google groups. Just type soc.sexuality.general in the search field
