Silviu1982 Posted January 1, 2015 Share Posted January 1, 2015 Well....I never though I'll have the opportunity to find this community of people but after reading a lot about "asexuality" I just realized that maybe my problem is in fact a way of living my life. It's my first time when I'm writing on a non-business subject so please excuse my poor English :) So, I live in Romania's capital, Bucharest. I have 32 years old and I believe I'm asexual and more than that....that I've always been like this. I had my first girlfriend when I was 19 and even though I hoped for a romantic relationship and I had a big need for simple affection, it turned out that she was very into sexual aspect of relationship. Back then I couldn't get excited while intimate because I wasn't attracted by this kind of sexual thing. Years had past and I had multiple relationships all ending with the same old story: I didn't felt the need for sexual intercourse and very rarely when I HAD do do it to save my relationships I done it with the use of viagra without any pleasure in it. Very recently I lost a long relationship from the same sexual reason. I've tried during these years to see some psychologists, I've done tons of medical screenings, sexual hormones, everything and nothing. At least two years of psychological therapy didn't had any effect. So, I come here, in the first day of the year, admitting that I'm a truly asexual person. I'd love to have a relationship without sexual intercourse, just affections. holding hands, kissing, hugging and all this stuff. Otherwise I'm a very social person even though I don't have many friends, I like to hike on the mountains, to run, doing all kinds of cultural activities, reading, traveling, cooking, just like a normal person would do. So...I just wanted to say "hi" in the first place and now I'll proceed to read as much as I can on topics around here. Cheers! Link to post Share on other sites

As a matter a fact I'll accept your in order to celebrate this first day when I give up on blame myself as not being like everyone else.
