My alias
I chose air because static electricity in the air leads to lightening which is badass. But then again blood is mostly water... hard choice but im going air

Diceman
I've always loved Earth. It's strong and stubborn. It's patient and waits for things to happen over time. It's just a tough bastard who doesn't give a crap.
Cideg
I'm fond of fire. I like looking upon fire as the embodiment of progress and technology.Whether it's cavemen finding fire for the first time, using heat to power steam engines, or the embodiment of warfare (which has always done wonders for technology, at an unfortunate cost), fire has been guiding technology for as long as we've had technology. There is also a lot of self control with fire to keep from burning yourself and those around you, which I've always respected and felt strongly associated with. If I were to choose a second, I'd go with water, primarily for ice/cold, but also for it's interactions with fire (i.e. steam) and the seas (whether sitting near them, or voyaging across them). I was actually just thinking about this earlier today, so I'm glad this was posted :D
Mycroft is Yourcroft
Air. It's freedom, weightlessness, and light. It's flying, jumping and wind. It's endless potential and just so immediate. I'd want to be an air spirit
Zerο
Tough call. My favorite element has always been lightning (I guess Air?), but I've grown very fond of water ever since I started working with it in engineering. Ironically, by dealing with flooding lol

drjohnhwatson
I chose water because I looove the sea. When I met a friend from the internet and we were together for like 2 weeks because we had to be, haha, we went to the ocean. I never get to go to the ocean because I'm land-locked and for whatever reason I'm drawn to it as a moth to a light. We were there for four or five hours, until the lifeguards booted everyone off the beach for the night, and I frolicked the entire time. My friend thought it was hilarious and watched from a beach towel. I have to be dragged away (sometimes literally) the rare few times I get to go to the ocean. I'd love to live on the water, although storms might be an issue. :P.

kelico
Water, for sure. We can't live without it, and I really can't...I can't go 15 minutes without drinking water lol. And wow, so many others also picked it! Go, water!
Aworld
I said fire because it's so fascinating and pretty to watch even though it's dangerous. And also, hehe, my name is ... Aish - like Ash ... as in, volcanoes and fire and lava :D
japche
I'm not the only one who read this question in the context of Avatar, right...? XD I'd probably pick Air because it seems the most.. free..(?) of the elements. It also makes me think of constant change and energy, yet a gentle breeze is calming and serene. The Wreyck
Air. I like its freedom and escape, but more than that I like it's wildness, and its ability both to give me life and take it away.

Guest
Torn between Air and Water.... went with Air in the end. The less tangible substance, the better... which is why Earth was right out, lol. (And Fire, while insubstantial enough, is just too damn incontrollably destructive for my taste.) iamphoenixfire
im torn between air and fire.... fire is so chaotic but can be controlled, but air is so free... it cannot be altered.... yeah i think ill go with air.
Guest
I would not say that it is my "favorite" element, but I do seem to have an affinity for water: I am good at swimming, straight water (not mixed with anything) is my favorite beverage, and every time it rains my mood becomes more pleasant. SquirrelCat
There’s something special about fire. It comes in many shapes from the raging blazes, to the exploding sparks, to the flickering little flames… but they are all fire.
Jamesasaur
I will go with fire, so many practicle uses: lighting a fireplace, cooking food, keeping yourself warm and killing people. The last part was joke, i swear im not a psychopath.
