But now it's the people who don't want sex who feel abnormal. The phrase, 'Just friends' was kind of strange, noting that studies show that the romantic relationships that last longest are based on deep friendship, not sexual attraction.Who are these Asexual mean n women… These Asexual men n women are not driven by sex. They are perfectly happy in relationship with opposite sex without any physical sexual act involved. And there is a new revolution and these asexuals are sexy…in their thoughts….According to scientific study, few traits of asexuals are..that they might feel awkward watching Porn or looking at erotic pictures coz these are experiences they cannot relate to… But these asexuals have a normal sex drive, but are not into any sexual relationship. A study reveals that 2% of adult population never had any sexual experience in their entire life…and abt 40% of the asexuals are happy….Its not the asexual don’t have a sexual appetite, most have a romantic attraction and desire for emotional intimacy, but they are not into sexual relationships. They can have many friends of opposite sex but relationship with them can b just asexual. On the other hand, they could be completely uninterested in a romantic relationship, and focus on platonic bonds.All over the world more n more ppl are discovering they are not alone. Asexual are the new reality. In India there are lakhs of asexuals but are not vocal abt their asexuality.They look for companionship in their relationship but many not b into physical relationships. Most asexuals want intimacy and like to flirt, they experience attraction too, but don’t act on it. Sex never motivates them n they never feel need for dating, kissing or mating. Asexuality is not celibacy – celibacy is a choice to abstain from sexual intimacy, while asexuality is an orientation which results in lack of sexual attraction.There is no scientific or official definition for asexuality. Asexuals, defined as people who feel no need or desire for sex, are just beginning to develop their own sense of what role they play in a society that is saturated with sex, both as a group seeking rights and recognition and as individuals seeking love. They are normal ppl. They draw a line between desire and sexual intimacy. When they have relationship they hug a lot will hold hands but will pass up the sex. Asexuals are normal ppl they wait for right person, they lack desire for sex coz of lack of emotional involvement….Asexuality is not for whole life its not forever…So friends my question is are we all not Asexual for certain period in our life coz we wait for right person to have sex with…( I read articles written by Nona Walia…n thus wrote abt this…it came in Sunday Times )posted on Monday, July 18, 2005 9:37 AM Link to post Share on other sites
