I'm asking because I'm honestly curious. I know that we need more people who have pursued higher education, but due to economic conditions, mental health, life, and other personal reasons, it's not as easily accessible or doable for some people. That's why I want to ask. I, personally, believe that college is important, but not suitable for everybody, and it's definitely not affordable for everybody, either.

I've been wondering how common sexual fluidity actually is. I see people say "well sexuality is fluid" quite often in response to people asking "am I asexual?"

This is about your actual orientation, not labels. So if you used to think you were straight, bi, gay, but not very interested, but now realise you were ace all along for example, pick no.

So, binging means to consume something episodic quickly and all at once. This mostly contrasts with those who consume it week-to-week, one episode at a time. This mostly is used to refer to shows because that's what most people get on a week-to-week basis, but it can also be chapters of comics or manga or fanfiction or whatever that comes out slowly over a set period of time.

I try and consuming things week-to-week, but it's so hard! Obviously, if I love something enough, I'll jump on it the moment I have the chance, but sometimes I decide to just let it sit until I can consume more of it at a time. Because reading one chapter makes me want one more, watching two episodes makes me want four, etc.

Hello and welcome to my poorly worded census forum poll. The first question is for asexual people (or people who are so closely adjacent to asexuality that it's basically their jam no matter the pedantics) and the others are just general opinions. I'm wondering if people feel like they're being heard, and if whatever the state of that is has changed over time.

	Hello to all,

I am a curious sort. In my quest to find answers to questions about myself, I found a similarity about two very different test's I took. First, I took the Myers Briggs Personality Test which was developed by Katharine Cook Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs Myers. Carl Gustav Jung was a Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst who founded analytical psychology. Jung's work was influential in the fields of psychiatry, anthropology, archaeology, literature, philosophy, and religious studies. Carl G Jung published Psychological Types in 1921. Briggs read the English translation (1923) and saw similarities between their ideas. However, Jung’s theories of personal difference were much more developed. Briggs and Myers thought Jung’s work was so useful that they wanted to make his ideas much more accessible. Myers spent the next twenty years formulating the questions and validating the MBTI instrument. It was first published in 1962.I took this test on a couple different sites and each time I got the same answer. INFJ.

The next part of my quest for knowledge was a bit more difficult. I had known all my life that I did not see sexuality or physical attraction to other people in the same way as other people I knew. I wanted answers to a question I did not know how to ask. I knew I did not want to just start asking people close to me. I did not want to be judged or ridiculed for something I wasn't even sure was a real thing to be worried about. I found several tests that said they could help determine sexual orientation. I had nothing to lose by trying so I took a couple of them. The first test was the Kinsey Scale Test created primarily through the work of Dr Alfred Kinsey. Dr Alfred Charles Kinsey was an American biologist, professor of entomology and zoology, and sexologist who in 1947 founded the Institute for Sex Research at Indiana University, previously known as the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender, and Reproduction. This was a good place to start, but it was too basic for the depth of knowledge I have been seeking. I took the time to look for as much information as possible that could better define and describe sexuality for me. I think it is important to note that I am not so worried about defining who I am through these research materials. I am interested in better understanding what other people's interpretations of their sexuality is and how that relates to me as an individual and on a larger social scale. What I found was that each test, while somewhat different from the last, had the same result. I kept being put in the Asexual class. Throughout my reading I found the term Demisexual. I have studied this term extensively. To date, this term has been the best way to describe what I feel. I felt a sort of relief and concern once I arrived at this conclusion. I had no idea what this meant for me. I certainly did not want to talk to friends about this too soon.

Now I have accepted what I found and actually feel the results are quite accurate. I have read a lot about INFJ's and Demisexuals. I started looking at both of these things in myself and became curious as to whether or not they go hand in hand with each other for more people and how would I find this out? This post is to encourage others to take these tests as well if you are curious and see if you feel there are similarities. If so, perhaps you will even share your findings here. I only encourage this if you are comfortable with it. I also would love feedback on any likes or dislikes of my quest that anyone may wish to share. Below are some links to help anyone interested in trying this experiment get started.
