I'm not going to ask about specific works/composers/singers as there are too many, but feel free to talk about your favorite ones in the comments.

I've been a musical fan for many years but only started to seriously appreciate operas recently (though I watched a few operas long ago and was familiar with some of the best known arias). At this point I still prefer musicals, but I think I'm liking operas more and more. One reason I prefer musicals is the melodies are much easier to learn (I like to sing along), whereas I may watch an opera a few times and still can't recall or recognize 95% of the tunes. :mellow: Also, sometimes an opera has several arias that I really like, but the rest of it isn't that impressive to me.

My favorite operas so far are Carmen and Madama Butterfly (I think Carmen has the most memorable tunes among all the operas I've watched). I also like Werther a lot, mostly because I was deeply moved by the tenor Jonas Kaufmann's portrayal of the title role. My all-time favorite musical is Les Miserables, followed by Miss Saigon, Avenue Q, Sweeney Todd, and Phantom of the Opera.

Edit: Yes, I know this will just be info from AVEN which on top of the obvious fact that not all asexuals are on AVEN or frequent AVEN regularly, it's online which biases the result towards introversion.

Here dietary supplements are basically vitamins and if you got health issues or don't get enough nutrutions (for example for vegetarians), bodybuilding supplements are excercising orientated and mostly for muscle gain and better results, i,e creatine. It is also other supplements, like Protein powder, which can both be for dietary and bodybuilding depending on why you use it.

It would be interestig to see what different people think of it, at least here it is really polarized where you either hate it or love it - while most hate it.

Personally I take whey protein, casein protein, creatine and pre-workout. And it helps me very much, so. I only have to eat like a rhino instead of an elephant :p

Note: This is strictly about legal/convential supplements, and not (!) illegal ones and/or doping. Also if you take any that I have not listed, please say them here so I can list them up nefore voting or just votw for other :)

Anyhow, I didn't see a poll for these on here, and I figured I'd add one. I'm always curious to discover other's Myers-Briggs types.

I am an INFP myself, and I find that I never meet any other INFPs, or so it would seem.

What I really wanna learn is, how many people who managed to get into the field they want, are happy now? And vice versa, who turned out to be happy with something they didn't want at first?

I'm studying engineering physics. Mind you, nobody forced me to study that, but it wasn't what I actually wanted, it definitely wasn't my first or even second choice. I wanna get my master's degree in aerospace (that was what I wanted btw), but what if it's not so magical at all? What if it won't make me happier? I'm kinda scared of that. Because I wanted it for so long, now my expectations are way too high.

What are your experiences?

I recently took this survey/personality test relating to which of the five "love languages" best describes how I prefer to receive love/affirmation/appreciation from people I care about. I'm not too knowledgable about it, but I believe the intention behind the whole five love languages idea has a sort of romantic relationship spin, though I don't think the ideas behind it are limited to just romantic relationships. I found it interesting because it really got me thinking about which gestures from close friends and family felt most meaningful to me, and why.

I saw another thread in the Off-A forum about physical touch, which reminded me of this. Personally, according to this questionnaire, I rated physical touch very low. My highest area ended up being a tie between words of affirmation and gifts.

Anyway, just wanted to share, and I wondered what the breakdown would look like in this community.
