AVENues wants you!

Here's the deal:

AVENues depends on YOU. It's not written by a bunch of monkeys at some headquarters. AVENues is written by all sorts of people: Asexuals, demisexuals, sexuals, gray-asexuals, romantics, aromantics, demiromantics, gray-romantics, friends, family, allies, etc. Yes, that means your friends and family can submit as well! Without your submissions AVENues cannot exist.

We need pieces for each issue. Here are some ideas of what you can do:

Readers responses/Letters to the editor: Did you like a story? Disagree with an article?
Articles: Is there something you want to talk about?
Poetry
Stories: Have a few asexual characters and/or stories?
Real life stories: Have a funny or interesting tale to tell?
Comics/Drawings: Show your artistic talent!
Meetup information
Recipes, puzzles (Must be original): Have a good cake recipe to share?
Meetup Photos
Posts on AVEN: see a funny or interesting post?
Current Events
Media: Talk about stories out there
And more: Come up with something that I haven't thought of.

PLEASE include in your e-mail:

  • Name (or name you want under your submission)
  • AVEN name (if applicable)
  • Title of the piece
  • The file or link to the file (make sure the size, if an image, is big)

If you are submitting work that has been published elsewhere, you MUST include an email and contact name for that publication. We cannot republish these works without permission from these publications.
