Live R Perfect joined AVEN on the 1st November 2003, originally under the name Liverlicker2003, though this was soon shortened to Liverlicker and then just Liver.

Liver soon became a high profile and active member of the community, assuming the roles of moderator and administrator at various points, taking part in visibility work, organising meetups, and giving interviews to the British newspapers during the media frenzy that ensued once the New Scientist article on asexuality was published in October 2004. Liver also created the visibility medal icon that is used to award kudos to members that have made an effort to increase awareness of asexuality, and the cake icon that is used so often used just for fun and in the Welcome Area threads in particular.

Liver changed his username to Live R Perfect in October 2005 after becoming engaged to Cate Perfect, another high profile member of AVEN.

The couple appeared together in abc's 20/20 report about asexuality, and it was implied - in the original airing of the TV program - that they had left AVEN because they no longer considered themselves to be asexual. This caused some controversy at the time, with some members suggesting that the couple had somewhat let the side down by appearing on TV and appearing to support the notion that asexuals just haven't found the right person yet.

Fortunately, it seems that the re-airing of the 20/20 segment on Primetime recently had been edited and updated with the happier news that Live R Perfect and Cate Perfect are now happily married and living together in the United States. They are both still members of AVEN, though they have opted to keep a lower profile and not spend so much time at the site.
