Strongly left, for equality and personal freedom/individualism.

Encourage the fair distribution of wealth/philanthropy from those who can realistically afford it (through moderate taxation but also socially promoting the sharing of excess wealth).

As important, encourage equal opportunities for all through welfare (e.g. grants to poorer communities and/or individuals), fight discrimination and remove borders and difficulties (e.g. have freedom of movement, free college and training, free childcare, universal healthcare, etc).

People should be able to live how they see fit, not how society dictates, as long as individuals do not infringe upon the health, safety, opportunities and personal freedom of other people.

Also a pacifist, though unfortunately being a pacifist in a world, where discussion and diplomacy often go unheard and violence is a major force, has its difficulties...

Big supporter of the EU and its freedom of trade, movement and social/political achievements, although the financial aspects have experienced considerable problems...

I guess in the US liberal means not having conservative values? What word do you use for economical liberalism though? Because all the cons are pretty liberal when it comes to economics. If you're a "libertarian left" does that mean you're a neo-liberal who's pro gay marriage and stuff?

I'm anti-capitalist because capitalism is obviously not working. Unfortunately, nothing else has ever worked either, but then nothing else has been given a thousand new chances and been forgiven time and again the way capitalism has. I guess Social democracy is the best we've had so far, and even that was far from perfect during it's peak in Sweden for example.

I'm left-wing. I don't necessarily have a problem with all conservative beliefs; I just happen to live in America, where the people currently steering the right wing are a bunch of loons who ran for office on a platform of not trusting the government and prefer constricting the national purse to actually passing legislation and getting things done.

I'm pretty far left, I think. I basically believe people should be able to do what they want as long as it doesn't infringe on others' rights.
