I was unsure of how to vote for the last question. I don't like seeing a sex scene in a movie or show because it's sex. I don't see it as embarrassing, I'm not neutral, and I surely don't feel like I'm missing out because I'm sex repulsed.

I don't mind kissing scenes, or love songs. Some love songs are just so nice to listen to regardless.

I couldn't decide on the last vote either. I don't care for sex scenes as they are usually unnecessary and a bit awkward, but they don't really bother me.

As for music, being a musician I usually pay more attention to the beat, bass line, and instrumentation. If that's all good, then it's a good song, regardless of content. Often I don't even realize the lyrics until hearing a song for the 20th time or so, and still the lyrics don't phase me.

-Neutral, it is just a film.

So I don't know, I guess I'm quite comfortable about myself. The thing is that before I knew I was asexual/demisexual (I'm still figuring this out) I would have answered exactly the same. I've always felt the same, but now the way I've always felt has a name. Sometimes, for example, if I see a beautiful love movie I'm like: "Aww, this is so sweet, I wish I could have something similar". But it doesn't make me feel bad or anything. It's just... a dream.

usually i do not pay to much attention to the lyrics either. for me music is quite powerful and can change / boost my mood. so when i am feeling down by being outsider and then i have to hear love songs in radio

(plus seeing couples on tv or on the street) i am really down.

Love songs I don't really care about one way or another. If they sound good, great! I don't really pay much attention to the lyrics in music anyways.

Kissing in films I'm also kinda ambivalent on, as long as it's not long and drawn out for absolutely no reason I don't really care. Sex I'm not a big fan of in movies though, just because I haven't really seen a sex scene that moves the plot forwards at all. Sex scenes just seem to be completely gratuitous for no reason other than to just have sex included.

It depends on the love song, but usually I don't care about the lyrics and enjoy it based solely on its sound and beat.

If there's a kissing scene I'm typically caught between 'eww, gross, embarrassing, I cant watch this', 'aww how cute/yes yes yes they're perfect!' and '...meh'.

It really depends on how explicit the scene is and what else is going on/my mood/how necessary the scene is for that last one to be honest. I generally feel very uncomfortable watching any sexual scenes, but sometimes I am more or less neutral about the scene, neither bothered by it nor all that interested by it.

I love all music, but love songs have to be really good, otherwise they're cheesy :D

Kissing scenes are either "eh" if they're cute or "uhhhhh...." if it turns into a face-eating war.

Sex scenes are "no."

You should add some "I like it" options. Because all of these are negative options. I like romantic music and some romantic kisses in media. And when it comes to sex scenes in media if it's done well I can bear it and not have an issue with it but if it's not done well I'd like to skip them.

first question is easy, there is nothing wrong with love songs, but I just wouldn't was a romantic movie

1: Depends on the song and on my mood. It can be a good or bad song regardless of the lyrical theme. Even if it is a good song, sometimes romance just makes me a bit depressed.

2: You left out the obvious answer; "Ew, gross." It's not embarrassing.

3: Same answer. I'm not embarrassed, just not particularly interested and slightly disgusted.

1. I like music, and a lot of my favorite songs are "love songs," but I enjoy them for what they are...good music. Some lyrics really touch me, even if romance isn't a big part of my reality.

2. It really depends, though I normally feel uncomfortable watching kissing scenes in movies...unless it's something quick and sweet. But long, drawn-out make-out sessions? Bleh, no. I chose "embarrassing."

3. Embarrassing. They make me uncomfortable (I'm moderately sex-repulsed), and I always want to fast-forward them! It's even more awkward when it's in a movie I'm watching with my family. >>' Awwwwkwaaard.

I can't fill out the poll because it doesn't has the answer I want to give in the second question.

1) Music is just music and I like it (most of all the music). Although some songs can really make me emotional.

2) Kissing scenes could trigger me emotionally when I see/imagine a emotional bond between the two.

3) Sex scenes seem boring to me.

I would have maybe liked "Other" for the first question as I have shared love songs and when I hear them, I feel a lot of emotions. Otherwise, if they have no connection to me, I usually get bored very quickly. So I voted for "it's just music and I usually like it."

Kissing scenes in films don't make me feel anything. I often laugh to be honest as they sometimes way over the top. So top answer for that one. And it is pretty much the same feeling for the sex scenes. All lace curtains ablowing, in dimly lit rooms and satin sheets. I prefer the Naked Gun sex scenes ^_^

I don't mind love songs or kissing scenes, but I could do without the sex scenes :P

Only the passion of real or apparently real and powerful orgasms make me wonder about what I could be missing. I've never seen such raw passion from anything else.

* As far as music go I can listen to just about anything as long as I like the beat. I spent 3 hours listening to ‘Fuck away the pain’ on repeat yesterday.

* Kissing scenes in movies can occasionally be somewhat embarrassing, when they offer nothing to the plot and feel as if they’ve just been thrown in there for no reason what-so-ever except to have a kiss scene. If they contribute to the plot they can be a great addition to the story.

* Movie sex scenes are nothing special so long as they fit the plot. When they don’t I face-palm.

Music and films are just music and films and I like or dislike them for various reasons, not just because they are about 'love' or contain 'love' scenarios.

Kissing scenes in movies maker me grimace and cover my ears. Can't stand that face-sucking sound x.x. Forget sex scenes
