And a bit of genuine history talk there too :P

Imagine you could have a family crest. What would be on there and what would the motto be?

My families crest would have the standard shield shape divided into 4 parts. There would be a black cat, a man under a ladder, an unlucky horseshoe and the number 13.

The motto would be:

"To keep them down. A kick to the nuts."

*Never trust anyone who doesn't like Groundhog Day. NEVER!

*Oh Ledley, Ledley, he's only got one knee, he's better than John Terry, oh Ledley, Ledley.

*Detective, he would die of shock right now if you were to shine a flashlight in his eyes. He's experienced as much pain and suffering as anyone I have ever encountered, give or take.................................and he.........still has hell to look forward to.

*It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known.

*I wont say I don't deserve you anymore because I can see you wouldn't take care of me like that if you didn't love me.

People drinking and other people looking like they're yelling/screaming at each other with the motto 'at least we're not in jail'.

Traditional shield, with four divisions. Within each division, there will be the suits Diamond, Heart, Club and Spade, to represent the Homestuck quadrants! The motto will be "WELCOME TO THE DARK CARNIVAL, BROTHER" :P

Kind of like this:

But without the cards behind it, and the spiral in the middle! XD

"Thoust" should be "thy", or at worst "thine". :P

I'd probably go with one or more corn oar(s) or oar bundle(s), black, on a solid background of gold. Two cats as shieldholders (one black, one tabby).

(Also, the paint would be flaking off in places and show worm-eaten, brittle wood below...)

I disagree with the sentence in the top-of-site banner,

and I firmly disagree with the ideology around it.

Sigh... my family. It would probably be divided into four sections and have a beer tankard in one corner and a shoreline in the other (because everyone loves the ocean and the navy and whatnot... except me) and say "BYOB"

I've had reoccurring nightmares that I was loved for who I am

And missed the opportunity to be a better man ♫

Oh oh oh, my brother drew a family crest for our family.

I'll have to go find a picture of it. It was hilarious.

Mine would just be a shield with a screw pictured on top with a baseball below it.

Mine would be navy blue with a big golden question mark. It would say "Yes, we're all mortal. So what?"

The Watsons have a couple, but for me and the way my finances are I think some 'Pawnbroker' balls would be apt and the motto would be "Non illegitimi carborundum"

*Yep, I know it isn't real Latin ;)  *
