According to studies that have been done, 1% of the population identifies as asexual. I have recently realized that there are a lot more asexuals than that, and that a majority of our world is asexual.

 •Food and beverages are asexual

 •Clothing is asexual

•Houses and other buildings are asexual

•The ground and floors are asexual

 •Books are asexual

 •Music is asexual

•Planets, stars, solar systems, galaxies, and the universe itself are asexual

•Cars, boats, trains, airplanes, and every other mode of transportation (except horses, and even then, there are probably a few asexual horses) are asexual

 •Lights are asexual.

 •Air is asexual.

So there you have it. We eat, drink, wear, live in, walk on, read, listen to, buy, and breathe asexuals every day. We rely on asexuals to get us from Point A to Point B. Asexuals literally light up our life. EVEN THE VERY FABRIC OF THE UNIVERSE IS ASEXUAL! :D This world couldn't exist if it weren't for asexuals!

  • LaMaestra and Vivaldi Ives like this

I think when I grow up I'll become a book about the history of people cracking their knuckles. That way, cows won't feel like they have to smear cinnamon on the foreheads of elderly snowballs just to avoid being taxed for singing about jelly beans. This will also introduce people on Mercury to light bulbs, which would satisfy their desire to eat lemonade pizza and hug dolphins at the same time. :D

Although your post is interesting, asexuality can be described as a type of sexual orientation. To have a sexual orientation you need to have erotic experiences and responses. Does food have erotic experiences? I doubt it.... ^_^

In Romance languages however, aren't feminine and masculine (la and le for example), used based on the object. Like...isn't a door feminine in French? I could be wrong, but I know some items were "masculine", and some were "feminine". So an item being asexual would depend on the language you are speaking.

Of course, I used to think asexual meant the same thing as sexless, so

Please don't say that - we already have enough people trying to get married to utterly bizarre things - for example, "Brenda" getting married to a brick - and it'll only give 'em even more ideas! :P
