Tickman Posted January 12, 2016 Share Posted January 12, 2016 I got 80% in the demisexual- and 71% in the asexual-test...But espacialy in the demi-test: There where many questions that made me "WTF I should do any of both sides?" or "It DOES matter who's body it is!"... Scooty Posted January 12, 2016 Share Posted January 12, 2016 Took the Demisexual test a second time. I got 75% again. I took the Asexual test this time. I got 71% on the Asexual quiz. I got an average (60%) for the Sapiosexual quiz. Intriguing, I suppose. I wouldn't base my sole sexuality on internet quizzes though. Link to post Share on other sites

Totally had no clue how to answer when it asked "It's very rare for me to find a body of a stranger sexually attractive" because "Strongly agree" would mean it's very rare but happens and "Strongly disagree" would insinuate that it happens more often, and it doesn't happen for me at all, so I just checked middle. xD Link to post Share on other sites

The result I got (75%) is pretty meaningless, because for at least half of the questions I felt they totally don't apply to me, and in my case the answer would have been neither nor. But the scoring system seems rather arbitrary. I don't think I could say "this is a good test to gauge demisexuality" so much as I can just say "me and the person who wrote this quiz seem to have almost exactly the same relationship with demisexuality." I am more of a Grey-Ace even though I scored a 72 pts, which is above the 60 pts needed for the test to call you demisexual. Some of the questions were leading questions I probably should have tried to leave blank since they didn't really apply to me. As an example, the question about sometimes feeling sexual feelings sometimes in platonic relationships I said strongly disagree since I have never experienced sexual feelings in that situation but someone who feels sexual feelings all the time might have also said strongly disagree. I can be aroused by porn sometimes, but It's toward the scenery or imagination, not the actors. And yet I identify as asexual, not demisexual, because I have some libido, but my willingness to participate in partnered sex is exactly none.
