luxurieux Posted April 22, 2014 Share Posted April 22, 2014 I've only been here for a little while, as you can see by my small post count, but I'd say that yes, I do feel welcomed and included and like I fit in. Otherwise I don't think I would have stuck around for as long as I have (as short as that time may be). So far I've found it incredibly liberating being able to communicate with others who have experienced some of the same things I have. Being able to share things that I can't share with people I know in real life is wonderful and a really nice way to figure myself out before applying it to my life outside of the internet. In the end, I made an account out of curiosity, and because I wondered what happened in the chat. I didn't realise it would alert everyone that I was there so I got really nervous, but everyone was lovely! I had a week off work and had a really good time talking to lots of different people about everything from Pokémon to Physics <3 I surprised myself by how comfortable I felt here, since I normally don't like people much... As part of ongoing Census organization, and in an attempt to keep the demographics of the polls current with the active user base at the time, the polls will last for one year from now on.
