I just cant switch from windows just yet (I tried linux... but theres not enough support for stuff under linux... both my sound cards and my DSL modem are completely incompatible, and I'm not talented enough to write my own drivers.) ASF Posted June 17, 2005 Share Posted June 17, 2005 Nah for Linux with DSL just load the PPoE driver it works just fine (Had Verizon, MCI and Eathlink DSL). And most sound cards work these days. (See Bex thread for rant on identity theft) Fortunately, despite the fact that I'm running Windows XP and Outlook Express, I'm pretty unbothered by viruses on the whole.
