If you mean watching movies, my answer to that is no and never. But years ago, when my father passed away, I was cleaning out some of the cabinets in his workshop in the garage and I found his "stash". Some of it was pin-up type mags, and some was (at least based on what little I know of porn) pretty hard core, in the sense that nothing was left to the imagination in scenes depicting sex. Of course, like a cat I was curious, and I flipped thru a lot of it (also figuring I'd sell some of the older stuff from the 60's and 70's, since people collect that and at the time, my father had just died and my mom wasn't sure if we could survive on my job and my father's pension). Most of it was heterosexual basic stuff - no kinks, S&M or anything like that, and also some lesbian stuff made to appeal to heterosexual men. One of the weirdest things was a flip book put together of old black and white photos of (apparently) real people (most all of them Vietnamese-looking heterosexual couples, I assumed, since he had served in Vietnam during the war and he must have gotten it over there) having sex.

I didn't find the nudity (male or female) to be repulsive, but some of the stuff wasn't "my cup of tea" and not something I'd be interested in seeing. But for some odd reason, I found the pics of the apparently real people having sex to be the least offensive, probably because they looked comparatively natural as opposed to the pics in the mags.

But I have really no desire to look at any type of porn. I do, however, create my own erotic art on and off (as the mood strikes me, which it doesn't often do these days since I've been on the pill), and in the past, some erotic fiction. I keep the art at the level of an R-rated movie, never anything really explicit - no depictions of genitals (very rarely, I have depicted male-type genitals but never female) or parts entering parts.

On an occasion. But i most certainly cannot watch live action pornography. It just weirds me out; so instead I watch the animation form (hentai) and usually just laugh at how ridiculous the stories are, although there are actually some good ones. I also would say that I'm sort of picky when it comes to the art style. It has to be up to my artistic taste or I can't watch it either.

So weird thing from my last post.....I no longer am able to watch hetro porn anymore. It is so gross....I only can watch videos of girls now. Maybe if I'm lucky that means eventually I won't want to watch any porn...it is embarrassing to admit that I watch it.

I do, on occasion. Usually use it as quick way to get my brain to the appropriate mindset that I need now and then for physical relief. Otherwise it's pretty hard to get there - as my natural libido is way too low, and is obviously getting lower, and I have no actual sexual fantasies invloving real people, the porn folks are the easy, quick, over-the-top substitute for written fictional characters, my preferred source of erotica/porn.

What I've noticed though is that I can't watch porn where the sexual acts displayed match my romantic orientation. Ages ago, when I was still in my "well by default I must be into boys" phase, hetero porn was a huge turn-off. Now, when I'm more in touch with my actual romantic orientation (homoromantic), I can't watch like 90% of the girl-on-girl clips. I think it's because I sometimes need the stimulus but I want to feel as distanced from it as possible.

I do, but only because otherwise the feeling in my pants would just become unbearable. I don't like it and would rather not have to masturbate at all, it's more of a chore to me than anything else.

I only find animated porn (Yaoi and Yuri, etc.) arousing and rarely watch it; only to satisfy an urge not to randomly watch and fap off to (otherwise it doesnt work for me).

Like, why watch it? It's kind of like people's response to straight guys that like watching lesbians guy at it or yaoi fangirls. "You're not going to get any of it, so why do you like it?" You're not getting any stimulation from porn, so wouldn't it be just as easy to just jack off without it? Then again, I don't ever really jack off regardless, but that's a different story.

I think this is because their love would have to be more legit (since not always acceptable, which could be another turn on) or non-reproductive in purpose, thus appealing in it lasting. It also would not lead to having a child, which could not be in the person's agenda. Not to mention in nature it would be a risky thing to have with the need for more food which would discourage both the female in having it and the male in being stuck to provide for it. Maybe in a way it would be an admittance that people play with themselves so its "more natural" to see male and male and female and female. So even though they arent interested in the same sex or becoming the opposite sex in order to have this kind of sex, i think its subconsciously a safer option so its more appealing. Opposite sex homosexual porn is appealing instead of same sex porn because people apply what they see to themselves, thus seeing male on male could make a straight man uncomfortable. Seeing this of the opposite sex has less of this implication (probably because they do not have those parts and cant apply it to themselves). I think the Twincest thing is a "love yourself" thing (which is healthy, thus appealing) but made into physical love.

btw, watching porn (or even being a fangirl/fanboy of Yaoi or Yuri or a couple) doesnt mean someone thinks theyr getting a piece of that action (unless theyr a self-fantasizer). Its just a turn on (if even in the slightest; they may not even notice it and deny it).

Its a bodily response, not exactly a brain response? -_- well that explains things.

I don't. I think it's silly, in a way. I just don't see how watching other people have sex is supposed to do anything for me. I guess it must be doing something for other people though! I don't see the draw.

What's the difference between "yes" and "sometimes"? Seriously.

Yes, I do watch porn, although I've noticed that after it has done its job it loses its appeal for me, especially if it's explicit. I can watch more softcore things for much longer, just for the aesthetic reasons.

Sometimes, but I don't like it and I'm going to quit. I think I watch it only because I lack someone I can be close with, and in a strange way I get comfort by watching other people get close even if it is sexual. I know there is a psychological reason why I watch it because I don't really like it, I haven't pinned it down completely though. Like I said though I'm going to stop because it obviously isn't helping, that and I always feel sick after I watch it. I am a weirdo, I know.
