Lord Happy Toast
The link didn't work for me. If it's a patch, it may well be a T-patch. Procter and Gamble tried to get the FDA to approve it under the name Intrina, but that failed, although it was approved for use in some parts of Europe. As I understand it, independent drug-rating organizations considered it to do extremely badly in terms of cost/benefit analyses.

sinisterporpoise
It is a testosterone patch and I doubt it will have as many problems as Filbanserin did.
Lord Happy Toast
If it's a T-patch, then it would make more sense to compare it to Intrinsa (also a T-patch) rather than Flibanserin (a failed anti-depressant). For people who would use a T-patch, they would likely use it for a rather long period of time. One of the main concerns that prevented Intrinsa from being approved was the lack of data on long-term safety (or lack thereof). So it would make sense that a company trying to make another T-patch would be doing a large-scale study to investigate precisely that.
