Is there any way to permanently remove sexual feelings?

I ask this since I don't want to have sexual feelings of any kind. At my age, I don't get them as frequently as I did as a youth. But nonetheless, the few, occassional urges i get still sicken me. I don't need them, as I've yet to have sex, and quite frankly don't really want to. And yeah, I've heard about depo provera shots and the like, but those seem inconvenient. I want something permanent, that'll permanently relieve me of those feelings. Any advice?

I don't know if your a male or female but . I 've heard online that antihypertensive drugs, antidepressants, cyproterone acetate, certain sleep aids, and digoxin can decrease male sex drive(check with a doctor).

I would also check out this pill for men and women(check with your doctor)

Libidno is the first guaranteed herbal all-natural anaphrodisiac that assists individuals to temporarily suppress distracting sexual urges.*

As far as I have seen, the only way to permanently remove any sexual desires is through castration.

You're unlikely to get a doctor to help you since the doctor may reasonably think you might change your mind in the future and sue the doctor. And castration is generally the only way to permanently get rid of them, as a previous poster say, and no doctor is going to do that for you, definitely. Doctors have to carry liability insurance. Their insurance companies aren't going to cover them if they do dodgy stuff like that.

Not sure. Pretty sure the only 100% permanent ways would not be done by any doctor I know about.

So, there's no way whatsoever to do this? :(

Could look into chemical castration. Its not permanent, but if you continue the procedure it'll continue to act like you were castrated...

You still would need a doctor to prescribe medications (probably female hormones), and you'd run into the same problem.

Why don't you make an appointment with a doctor and get his/her opinion? We can't really answer you for certain. The doctor could explain whether it's practical to expect such a thing. You can't really do it to yourself.

Generally castration doesn't remove sexual urges, it just prevents you from acting on them. At least, that's my understanding. I'm not sure taking hormones usually associated with the opposite sex would work either, as sometimes they have the effect of increasing the sex drive.

You may want to talk to a doctor or therapist about that. A therapist may be able to try alternative practices like hypnotism or association (like, associate sex with something else so you no longer have the urge). As stated above, a doctor probably isn't going to be too keen on permanent solutions.

I have the same sentiments towards sexuality. I'm a 20 year old male. To solve this problem, I have been taking oestrogen and spironolactone. I started at 0.625 mg/day oestrogen and am now at 2.625mg/day and 100mg/day spironolactone. These medications have helped greatly. However, I bought them w/o a prescription. Occasionally, I have experienced mild migraines and somnolence. I'm also applying borax topically to my testicles to cause them to atrophy. Currently, I am building a small heating apparatus to keep the testicles warm.

I'd like to remind everyone that taking medication without doctors supervision can be dangerous. Please consult a specialist if something about your body is worrying you.

Doesn't taking Digoxin for reasons other that what it's designed for cause heart problems?

I'm looking for something permanent here. I don't like having sexual feelings of any kind.
