knout Posted February 10, 2010 Share Posted February 10, 2010 Good Dick is the title of a movie that came out in 2008. Here's the imdb page I just finished watching it and I felt some asexy vibes. It's definitely not a movie about asexuality per se, but it's not your conventional romance. I wouldn't recommend it if you're repulsed as some of the content involves : softcore porn, masturbation. although nothing is shown, they talk a lot about it I don't want to spoil any of the film, so I'll put it in the spoiler thingie, but these are some of the things that gave me an asexy vibe : For once in a movie, love happens... not sex. The woman seems not to be bothered by not having sex, and she takes care of her libido on her own. Unfortunately, there's hints at an history of abuse... but that could be speculations. They mention frigid... Although I'm not sure it's in a bad way For those last reasons you might consider it bad, because it once again, pictures people not having sex as broken people... But I didn't felt it that way. The woman has issues but she's not miraculously cured by sex It would be much easier to talk about it, if someone had actually seen it ^_^ I wasn't sure if I should have post that in off-topic, mods, feel free to move it if necessary :) Link to post Share on other sites

I go to check the mail today and it's here (!), BUT--after having added it in an sleep-deprived frenzy--I couldn't remember what it was about. Cut to about fifteen minutes ago and I'm simultaneously looking at the movie info while perusing the forums and finding this post! I'm looking at the dvd sleeve as we speak! Eerie.....
