Recently had a dream about Jensen Ackles. We sat next to each other on the sofa reading a book. It was great, but probably not what most people would think if i said i "had a dream about Jensen Ackles" haha!

No clue who Jensen Ackles is but I would love that dream. Reminds me of the time when someone asked me which actor I found hot (Tom Hiddleston). They then asked me what I would do if I met him and I said that I would sit down and have a conversation.

One person in my grade from the high school I would've gone to if I hadn't moved had two kids by the time she graduated. Another from my actual school had already adopted one out by the time we were sophomores or juniors. I just don't get it.

I'm not sure if it's a stereotype for each school to have a pregnant girl or just at graduation.  I remember seeing her round belly when my parents wanted me to buy prom tickets.  Meanwhile, one of my friends was the one who walked across the stage in crutches.

I might have told this story already, but I'll tell it anyway.

I was talking to my best friend on the phone. He was on speakerphone so that I could do other things while talking to him. I mentioned as much, and he agreed (he was wearing headphones with a mic on them). That moved into another conversation regarding having better things to do than homework, and he said something around the lines of "yeah, I would rather be doing lots of things. Like playing videogames or masturbating." And I just thought, 'We're old enough for that?'

There was a guy who I was really good friends with in high school.  I asked him after several years, since we were gone for college, if he wanted to get some milk tea with me.  We were catching up and he was saying really matter-of-fact, not really awkwardly at all, that he watched porn in his free time.  I guess since we were such close friends before, he was okay telling me that.  I kind of forgot people did that.

Watching the Chicago movie and being jealous of the dance moves. Meanwhile, everyone else is talking about the fact that the movie is "so sexy" because all of the actors are in the bare minimums.

I saw the play. I had the same reaction as you.

I was at a burlesque show and while some of my friends were getting super excited about the girls performing, I was acting like a dancing judge, hand on chin, evaluating the artistic and aesthetic value of the show. "Yes, those undergarments really do embellish her skin tone." Hmm hmm, this song is really well supported by her dance (and not the other way around)" etc.

When a casual friend wants to talk about who's getting married next or who is into who and you're stuck in a car too far from home to walk and unable to come up with a good excuse to take the bus.....

Old acquaintance you bumped into: So you married?

Me: No.

Old aquaintance: You got a boyfriend?

Me: Nope.

Old aqcuaintance: Oh, but you're so pretty...

So just cuz I look a certain way that means I need to be sleeping with someone? Should 'ugly' people not be in relationships? !!!!

On analyzing song lyrics: "I'm in love with your body"

Me: ONLY the body?

A friend who can be considered fat assumed that fat wasn't attractive.  I said it's a body.  Whether someone is fat or not doesn't mean they can't be loved.

Casually mentioning that you're going to a concert next week and a nice guy you know will be there. Cue co-workers pressing you for details of your "relationship" with said guy, even though you don't see him as anything more than a friend.

Whenever I read a story and there is some girl who apparently hates the guy but when he kisses her she doesn't stop him because he's hot, and I'm like 'what the hell?! '.

There is also that when a girl looks at a guy and can't take her eyes off him, or when she wants to  her fingers through his hair. I always thought that was unreal or just overly imagined, until I read a post about an asexual guy who thought the same, only then had I realized it was real.

This is maybe more of a 'sheltered childhood moment' that an 'ace moment', but I remember when I was about 19 having a conversation with a couple of university housemates, and somehow the topic of porn got brought up. One of them mentioned that they watched it regularly, and I was just so confused, because up until then, I genuinely thought it was like this really niche thing that was super difficult to find (It had never occurred to me to ever actually go looking, so I just kept that assumption).

But no, you can apparently just type it into google and away you go. I got made fun of (in a nice way) a LOT for being so 'sheltered'

When I first started reading romance novels, the first trope - because it is a trope - drove me nuts and I kept hoping that the pair would decided to just be friends in the end. It still drives me nuts no matter what the genre is because it seems so forced (even though the point of it is that the heroine is "fighting" her attraction to the "hero" [who's coming across as a complete and utter alpha jerk/fill in the ____ {or the MC(s) is/are fighting his/their attraction, because it happens in m/m romance too}]).

As for the hair thing - that's a visceral thing, touch being part of sensual attraction between people.

Whenever I read a romance novel I wait excitedly for the moment they confess or kiss each other, and then it gets more intimate, and I feel that they had ruined it all. I read an online romance story once, and I loved it, but I couldn't read it after they had sex, I couldn't even read that chapter. Or the time I tried to read Fifty Shades of Grey, I didn't know what it was about but I've heard its name a lot. I swear to God I thought it was a fantasy novel XD, until that part came in and I just sat there unable to think.

I find a lot of the online freebie fiction writers (whether they write original stuff or fanfiction) seem to spend all their energy getting to the big scene only to lose interest afterward and the story just loses steam from there on, so you may have encountered that too. However, I agree!

^^ this!! Every time... You get two characters where the creators have managed to portray their love for each other in a non overdramatic, realistic way, then you get the first kiss and are all happy for them, and THEN they ruin it with sex and you're brain is just like "Warning: Interest level just fell all the way down to zero, try to ignore what just happened in order to move on"

I stopped reading them for that reason, I try to read ones that don't include clear scenes in the subject, I read ones which state that they did it but indirectly. So at least I can pretend it never happened.

When you go into the local DIY shp and ask for fence panels and they ask if you need someone to erect them....then you say 'oh it's ok, I have a nice neighbour who will slip it in'....before realising what was just said and sidling off red faced.Happens to me a lot.

As a freshman in high school, I was in the bathroom after school, and this girl came in with her boyfriend, making sure no one else was inside. They saw my feet and kind of freaked out, and he waited outside until I left. It was super awkward, but I genuinely thougt that they just wanted to hang out somewhere they weren't supposed to. It literally never occurred to me that that was 100% not why they were there. (It's kind of a thing at my school that girls give blowjobs in the bathrooms) Anyway the other day I was thinking about that, and I finally realized how oblivious I was. It's not like I wasn't informed or disgusted by sex, it's just not where my mind goes.

So on a facebook a fan group for the game Doom, someone posted up a picture saying something like "Look at my new sexy girlfriend playing Doom", and it's a picture of a girl playing Doom, whilst only in her underwear. My interest was solely trying to figure out if I can figure out what part of Doom she was at. I managed to squint enough to make it out where in the game she was.

Did similar where I saw somewhere a picture of a topless woman (though the pic is taken from behind) playing a Final Fantasy game on and I'm trying to see what game and where about it was. Again with a lot of squinting at approx 1-5% of the total picture for a long time, I think I figured it out.

Both pictures lost all interest to me when I figured out what game and where in said game it was at. It's almost like the people who watch porn set in class rooms, but they solely focus on if the blackboard (or any other visible piece of school work\teachings) in the scene is correct or makes sense from an education point of view (actually found a blog dedicated to that years ago which would rate the work based on difficulty and accuracy:lol:)

I was watching some Netflix today, and someone "accidentally" had sex with someone else because they just couldn't help it. This seems fairly common in media. And I don't understand that? I know that there's a spectrum that goes from asexuality to hypersexuality…but since I'm so close to the asexuality side of things, I just can't imagine because so utterly attracted to someone that I can't help myself from jumping them. On a related note: When people say being celibate is unsustainable because humans are inherently sexual…lol, I would have no problem being celibate for life, and that is in fact what I intend to do.

You know when you're writing an essay, you look something up on youtube for research, then all of a sudden you're watching "If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with mesothyleoma" compilations and it's 2:00 am?

My guess is it's the same for sexuals, but instead of roblox death sound remixes it's sex.

Wow, it's annoying when people say things like that.

No-one has ever accidentally had sex (excluding victims of rape, of course). Just like no-one has ever accidentally driven to a shop and bought cigarettes while trying to quit smoking.

*Possibly TMI coming up*

I think I'm about 75% sexual, because I experience attraction, but it's not related to sexual characteristics, and I am sex-and-genitals-repulsed. So...

In 2008, I met a very beautiful girl who seemed to like me in a sexual kind of way. We had a night together with snuggling, some bare skin and some kissing; but guess what we didn't do... That's right, underwear stayed on and we didn't have sex. I had made it clear to her that we would not do it. Now that I'm older, I am starting to learn that, for most people (i.e., sexuals), attraction + bed + minimal clothes = sex 100% of the time. So I wonder what this girl thought about me? Maybe that's why she seemed to lose interest in me shortly afterwards... Ha ha haaa!

I was eating clam chowder today, and I commented that I hated clam (I love everything about clam chowder except the clam) and somebody said that they wouldn't expect me to. And they were, like, waggling their eyebrows weird and a bunch of people started laughing. Did I miss something? Is clam, like, secretly an innuendo?

don´t know if this has been already answered. But at least over here, the word "clam" can be associated with female genitalia

I feel that way too, sometimes. Some people's hair just looks so nice and soft. Its pretty much the only part of my fellow humans I ever look at and want to touch. Everything else I just appreciate in an aesthetic, (rather than sensual) way. Of course, I not going to act on that impulse ever (unless I was already in a relationship with someone), that would be rude. I wouldn't want someone else invading my personal space to do that to me either. They're people, not animals in a petting zoo. But oh, do I ever love a good petting zoo!

That dog sounds so cute! I have a neighbor who has an adorable, fluffy little dog that is so sweet. If I happen to be outside when they're out for a walk, he'll stop and let me pet the dog, which is nice (for me and the dog :)). One time I jokingly said, "I'm gonna steal your dog, he's so cute!" My neighbor replied (jokingly as well), "you can have him." My response? "Don't tempt me!" He got a kick out of that, lol!
