VConfused94
So this post may or may not be long... I am so confused about my sexuality, and I’m not asking anyone to “diagnose” me. I’m just looking for advice. Soooo for the past 3 yrs I’ve been debating if I am asexual or not. This has been on my mind after realizing I have no sex drive at all. I am a healthy 23 female. What I don’t understand is that I think about sex, listen to music that is heavily focused on sex, but don’t get aroused. I’m only turned on when watching porn, And there has only been two instances in my entire life when thinking about someone that I have gotten turned on... does anyone have any idea?! Could it be psychological? I have really struggled with self esteem my entire life so wonder if this has anything to do with it..
Just Somebody
Aces can have many different feelings towards sexual acts, while some of us are against sex (antisexuals) or sex averse (apothisexuals) or even genital repulsed (vapubsexuals ), some of us are indifferent towards it (apathsexuals ), others are sex positive (iculasexuals), others even somewhat desire sex (cupiosexuals). Some of us feel aroused only by sexual content (aegosexuals ), or by depictions of sexual attraction (limnosexuals), I think these may be your case. Falcon7
Welcome to AVEN Don't worry, you are not alone here! I'm pretty much replused. I don't mind others talk about it or make jokes and stuff. But once someone start talking about sex involving myself, I automatically repulsed and even couldn't stand up. I suddenly lost control and I thought I gor seeriously ill. It took more than 30 mins to get back to normal. I've never aroused - actually there are many words I cannot really understand on this forums (like arousal, sexually frustrated, sexual attraction etc), and I realised I'm non-libido. There is nothing wrong with it, really. It is just way it is and that's fine : )
