Nope, never, no way. (Hehehe I spring my evil trap) Agree, Human Centipede was horrible. I heard 'A Serbian Film' is just as bad when it comes to gore, but the storyline is a bit better. Still haven't seen it yet, so I don't know if that's true.
Gloomy
I’ve never seen The Human Centipede and don’t want to. I know I said I like torture porn, but when I heard about that movie I was like nope, too much for me!
Guest
Oh come on, butt stuff is the new slit throat in horror films! 😝😝😝
Guest
Serbian Film is only good if you know that the director meant it as a critique of Serbian life. Otherwise its just pointless. And a movie that extreme that is pointless is not good, even if it accurately reflects the times.
nothinbuttrouble
I've been obsessed with The Exorcist for around 15 years. lol Guess I'm into the more psychological ones Blue Velvet, Silence of the Lambs Love Videodrome As for torture porn, I found Martyrs to be the best of its kind. Guest
@nothinbuttrouble did you see the remake of Martyrs? I heard it was terrible.

I watched it the first time maybe a year back and I loved it . I went to find the director's cut and I was amazed !! Since TV censored a lot of the scenes haha
Guest
There was a lot that would have to be censored to show on TV.

A horror channel I have has most of the content retained during the premiere of the movie on their channel but censors stuff during the next broadcast (more and more each time) . And then by the X number of times the same movie is shown , there is honestly nothing much left to show haha
Always looking for answers
@nothinbuttrouble If you like the Exorcist, you might want to try The Exorcism of Emily Rose, and Anti Christ. The Exorcism of Emily Rose really got under my skin. This is just stupid... I know I've seen seen so many movies about exorcisms, and I somehow only can think of those two. Guest
Antichrist isnt that by Lars Trier? I'm not sure that is about exorcism but it certainly is horrific! That scene with the hegde clippers...
Always looking for answers
I mean the one from the 70's, not sure who's the director.
Guest
Oh I didn't know of that one. I guess I will look it up sometime.
smack12776
Horror head present and accounted for. My breakdown is as follows: Top Notch The Omen (I own the entire boxed set including the reboot which, in my opinion, failed to capture the spirit of the original. The soundtrack in the original Omen might have a lot to do with it). Halloween, huge Michael Myers fan. One year my ex-husband did the whole get up for Halloween and literally terrorized the entire neighborhood. Friday the 13th. Love Jason and his methods of execution are ridiculously sinister, however, I lost interest when Jason went global, no real reason for him to be in Manhattan or space ?? ?? ? Texas Chainsaw Massacre - just wickedly good. Candyman is an older horror movie that was really popular back in the 90's and I couldn't really get through it back then. Might try again. Stephen Kings IT and Cujo - Ah! Damn you, Pennywise! Scream - The opening scene with Drew Barrymore scarred me for life. I loved it. The Exorcist - Agree with nothinbutttrouble - a true classic. Psychological Fun The Shining - Brilliance! Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal - Hannibal remains of of my all-time favorite movies. Honorable Mention Saw - I amused by Jigsaw and therefore, spend most of my time chuckling about him as a concept than being concerned with his victims. Child's Play - A killer doll? Ok. Gremlins - Okay, as a child I was terrified of these little critters and am still uncomfortable with them as an adult Howard the Duck - Scarily bad Garbage Pail Kids - Just no. I might return if I remember others....
Guest
@smack12776 Candyman holds up quite well. It may even be a bit more socially relevant today than when it was released. I recently watched it again and was impressed by the acting. Tony Todd is the man.
