What is the difference between agender and gender-queer? Is there a difference?

I think that agender means that one does not perceive oneself as having a gender, while genderqueer is sort of a catchall term for someone who isn't completely binary, as well as being an identity on its own. A genderqueer person might perceive themself as having a gender, but not an entirely binary one. Also check this thread out:

Genderqueer is more of an umbrella term while agender is to not feel one has a gender/to be genderless.

Genderqueer can be referred to non-feminine nor masculine gender expressions and also referred as a synonymous to nb gender indentities,  it's more of an adjective/quality word.

Agender is a nb gender identity and so can be called a genderqueer gender identity.
