yonah
I know research on asexuality is one of those things where there isn't a lot but if you search you can find stuff. Does anyone know of research focusing on aromanticism instead of asexuality? Is there any? (I'm not sure if this belongs in this area, so if it doesn't I'm sorry)
Pramana
I've done a lot of research on asexuality, and have yet to come across anything specifically on aromanticism. The topic receives a small amount of discussion in various papers on asexuality, usually in the context of the split attraction model and how asexuals can have different romantic orientations. timewarp
I specifically looked for research on aromanticism a while ago, and found almost nothing. There are a few mentions in papers about asexuality, and that's about it. It would be nice if there was more, specifically also about aromantic sexuals. It's a pity that they have been largely ignored so far.
Guest Jetsun Milarepa
Yes, it would be good to be more visible from a research point of view. Maybe society is more focused on the sexual than the romantic. We're just not sexy enough science...
