Is it normal not to masturbate to porn?

Recommended Posts

Sometimes I look at porn, it's mostly just photos of breasts.

Sometimes my body reacted to the photos, my mind however is normal, I don't feel "horny" or anything.

I've never masturbated to sexual photos. I've never felt any desire to.

Is that normal?

I'm not really sure what is "normal", but personally I've never watched or had a desire to watch or look at porn either.

It depends. If your question is "is it normal to not want to watch it as an ace" then the answer is yeah, it's pretty common-place.

As to whether is it normal that my body doesn't react to porn, then that's where it gets muddy. It could be because you have low libido or (and this is a very big or) you could have a problem regarding your body. Don't get too hung up on the latter though.

Don't worry about it.  There are more important things in life.  No one should care what we do or don't do when/if watching porn.

I've never done it, never really watched or seen any. But I think this is more of a case to each to their own. I don't think there is a normal on issues like this. For some people porn might be a turn on, for others not. i would not get too hung up on something like that myself.

You can't define normal.
Perhaps it's atypical, but not abnormal...

I have never masturbated as I feel nothing if I try. That's MY normal.

Don't worry about other people. Just focus on what makes you happy.

Yes it would be normal for you, and I'm sure many others.

It's also normal for me to not look at porn, because I don't see the point.

There are people who aren't ace who also don't masturbate to porn.  It just depends on who you are and what you like and don't like.  There's no real set definition of "normal", especially when it comes to human beings.

Pretty normal, some watch it for the plot like any other movie, some are able to distinguish what's a good porn movie based on the quality of the plot, character development and such realistic developed sexual scenes.  Some are also able to name the actor and actresses or the directors to follow such movies with those people in them, just like any movie.

Many my watch porn outside of just needing the arousal dealt with, others may make their own porn and others are more the movie enthusiast like any other movie type.

Regardless of sexuality, gender, libido, there's probably  a few NSFW communities that simply recommend, critique or enjoy porn for what porn is beyond getting off by it.

I masturbate and I've never watched porn... Never felt the need for it, and I can't imagine what I would get out of it, and I consider myself as a normal human being (as far as normalcy can be descvirbed), so don't worry :) You don't need porn to masturbate, and tha't totally fine.
