Who would you be?

Imagine for a second that you can start a new life and create a person that is exactly the way you feel. What is your gender, name, body shape, personality, taste in clothes, hobbies, hair and eye colour, occupation and anything else you can think of?

This is just meant to be a fun way of exploring everything we desire. It would be interesting to find out the real you if you're experiencing gender identity issues. :)

Shoot, chargen is usually harder for me, since I have to figure out what makes up a whole new person, but okay, I'm game for this.

Hum... Assuming we have to stay in the same world setting, I'll play a variant of myself. We'll say...

Name: I'll keep my first name, but I'll change my last name to, hrm, Greene. Gender: If I can only pick one, I stay female. If I can be supernatural, I pick the option to just change at will, on whim. Average body shape, with high metabolism and decent at retaining muscle mass. Maybe a bit androgynous? Personality: Let's keep this one, but make me less awkward at parties where all the other people know each other and I don't. My boring department store and goodwill plus-size finds have all been replaced by well-fitting men's suits, an assortment of skirts and tops, and cocktail dresses. There's also gotta be something frilly and lolita, and maybe a period dress in there, Edwardian or Victorian, and a Victorian gentleman's suit, I think. I'll keep my brown hair, but I get to dye it bluegreen, and wear wigs when I feel like. I keep my eye color (grey-teal). I am now a successful, well-paid designer of weird and cute toys, and do indie design work on video games. If I can choose, my bosses are all nice, reasonable people whose company I enjoy. THEIR bosses are cool people. I like the people I have to work with.

Other: No money worries once I started my design job, and now I live in a cute, petite house in a small, private neighborhood the suburbs someplace that hugs 72 degrees on a regular basis most of the year. I live there with my life partner and we start every morning with breakfast and a nice cup of something. Decent garden of herbs, flowers, maybe some fruits and veggies. Enough room to entertain. And, in my free time, with my extra cash, I embrace my unrealistic dream job of being Santa and anonymously surprising people with functional and useful gifts they need, using my network of well-wishing spies to ferret out, say, single moms who need new dishwashers. I'm in excellent physical and mental condition and so is whoever I'm living with. My friends all live right nearby, and we enjoy getting together regularly in our conveniently-located, shared clubhouse and crafting workshop. We get to travel sometimes. Our kitchen and bathroom are always kept clean. Oh, and lastly... I'm not only better at playing piano and drawing, but can now actually play classical guitar decently, and I somehow manage to not get much arthritis when I'm older.

@The Unknown Warrior You should share your answers!

gender: Preferably male

name: Dan

body shape: Thin

personality: Is very relaxed, hides his anxiety problems, isn't as easily offended by everything, is stable with his emotions, and isn't afraid to say things. This is how I wish I was irl, 'normal', and not a nervous wreck who feels hopeless and suicidal at the dumbest little things that don't matter. My self esteem is just so god damn fragile.

hobbies: irl, playing video games and watching stuff on youtube all day. I'm obsessed with escapism. If we're talking about some crazy fantasy, everything, admittedly a marry-sue because of how pathetic I actually am.

hair color: Brown

eye colour: Green/kind of a green hazel or blue. I have hazel/greenish eyes irl, but I like blue eyes.

occupation:  None and I'd prefer it to stay that way, but society is designed in a way that makes me constantly miserable.

My name would be Merida and I'd be female. Height wise I'd be around 5' 7" and have a petite and nicely toned body. My feet would certainly be no bigger than size 8 so I can wear all the heels I want!! I would have brown curly hair and brown or blue eyes. My taste in clothes would be very much feminine with lots of pretty dresses and skirts. Since I like vintage dresses there would be plenty of those outfits too. I would dress in more casual clothes sometimes but not usually. I would work as a dressmaker and also make jewellery. In my spare time I would enjoy some girl time with my friends chatting over a nice coffee and my hobbies would be photography, cake making and tennis.

@The Unknown Warrior Aww yeah. Vintage dresses are gorgeous. I have to say a lot of modern ones just don't really appeal to me that much. I think it has something to do with the way they're typically manufactured to use way less material, and the more typical colors and patterns of our time.

@Lotta_Biscotti I may have been a woman in a previous life in an era women wore big puffy dresses and corsets. I've always been drawn to them. Mind you, I like a lot of the vintage dresses from the 20th century.

I would rather wear a vintage dress with a puffy petticoat than a tight fitting dress. It's far more my style.

@The Unknown Warrior I like period garb, but I would pass up some of the more restrictive and heavy parts, and probably cheat on my layers! I get hot so easily. I like something with swish though!

I think I would mostly stay like I am now (I actually like my body type, height, eye colour, name, taste in clothes, ...).

If I could, I would like to have a mostly gender-neutral body, though. I don't need to have breasts or any kind of genitals, and an uterus is mostly just f*cking annoying (imo). I would also like my hair to be lighter and more golden again (like it used to be).

As for my personality: I'd like to be less lazy, more confident, less anxious, more open to new people and experiences. Oh and PLEASE give me a body that doesn't require that much sleep!

Just being a cat would also be nice, though :3

Corsets would most likely be awful lol. I suppose I just like the shape they create.

I'd keep my appearance basically the way it is, only I'd want purple streaks in my hair. I'd wear funky graphic tees, shortish pleated skirts, leggings and tall black boots. My name would be Katherine, Kat for short. I'd live on the top floor of an apartment in the big city, and would work as a freelance writer and journalist. In my spare time, I would write songs and sing and play the guitar. I'd be outgoing and snarky and opinionated, but also kind and caring. I'd have tons of friends who would love me for my weirdness and the fact that I wouldn't care what others think.

Shape is nice, yes! Tight lacing and organ displacement, though... I'll pass. xD I'll pass on any clothes that will permanently give me problems with my body or get me killed during a fire. xD

I like it, too! But sometimes you just don't have the time to sleep more than 9 hours every night to not be tired all day..

Beautiful, blond, long-haired male (not VERY masculine but not too effeminate either) dandy. Slim, confident, charming. With a fancy, old-fashioned name. The rest could be the same.

More eccentric (is this the same meaning like extravagance?:D). I woudln't mind staying female, just be more flat and less curvy. So I can wear fancy clothes like suits or braces. And shorter hair, I've always wanted to try that but never had to courage to cut it. Regarding personality, maybe wouldn't mind being able to talk to people more freely and be less scared, because I am a coward when it comes to communication with random people.

Or on the other hand, being comfortable with wearing vintage dresses from 20th century, because I've never been feeling myself in dresses, so that's a nope.

Gender: Male with they/them pronouns

Name: (My real name isn't Jax so...) Jax Nikara

Body Shape: A tall stick with a bit of muscle but mostly just all around a high metabolism person

Eye Colour: A deep red (via contacts or mutation so eh)

Tattoos: A large dragon with it's head on my left collarbone, body and wings on my back, and tail wrapping around my arm to my middle finger; chain wrapping around my left arm with skeletons hanging off it; Jack Skellington on my right leg

Actual Occupation: Owns a small tattoo shop they live above with a little flower shop next door (I don't now why, it is just a weird little idea)

@Jax Nikara I've never heard that description before... lol ;)

Also I'm cisgender so I technically shouldn't be here... oops.

But here's mine!

Gender: Female

Name: Hazel [my given first name-> my middle name] [same last name] But only people I am really close with get to call me by my given first name. To most people I'd want to be called Haze or Hazel. (My first name is really personal and important to me. I don't know why, it just is.)

Body shape: Skinnier. Thin. Short, like I am.

Personality: Kind, but quiet. (Quieter than I am now. I feel forced by situation to talk a lot more than I want to.) I'd be on my own more often than I am currently. But once I became comfortable with certain friends, I would open up more and be more excitable sometimes. (Kind of like I am now.) I'd also be very affectionate with my friends. (Like I am now.)

Clothes: Mostly emo. I'd have more band t-shirts and black clothing. But I'd wear some pastel sometimes, because I like pastel too. Nothing really bright though. As for type of clothing- sometimes jeans, t-shirts and jackets, sometimes loose dresses, thin sweaters, and leggings.

Hobbies: Reading, writing, playing piano, singing, volunteering with children and/or the elderly, teaching Sunday school for kids or small groups for teenagers (when older),

Hair: Very long like it is now, but longer, to the top of my thighs. And brown (like it is naturally), but with lavender/lilac dyed tips on my hair.

Eye colour: Greener than my current green-brown hazel.

Occupation: A geneticist specialising in preventative medicine. Fallback plans: preschool teacher, early elementary school teacher, science or math teacher (for high school, not middle school), a sci-fi writer (if I could... I doubt I could succeed. But this is imaginary!).

(Also I'd wear an ace ring.)

(Also there are three little tattoos that I want. "Stay alive" in cursive on the inside of my left wrist, a semicolon on the side of my right wrist (the side with the thumb), and one of those hearts made out of a bass and treble clef on the inside of my left ankle... they all mean something to me ((even if they aren't particularly unique)).)

@Hazel_Elise this forum isn't for trans people only. It's open to everyone, as long as we are respectful. :)

I know, I just feel as if this was more addressed to people with gender identity issues, like, imagining themselves as how they feel. :)

I want to admit that I don't know what that is like.

For the record, I still regard myself as being cisgender even though there's another side to me.

Still a short boy (possibly still have heart issues)

be named Jordan. Still do creative arts: writing and singing with a bit of drawing.

wear darker colored clothes and follow my bro like a lil cub (still kinda do this)

and i suppose I'd still be ace aro and not want to date, sex, or have a relationship.

I think I'd be slightly happier.

I love doing things like this :)

I'd be a boy named Parker. I'd be on the taller side, skinny, not much for muscle tone. I'd have curly dark brown hair (so basically like mine but darker) and hazel eyes and freckles. I'd wear lots of different clothes, but mostly with a kind of skater/hipster vibe. I'd dress dapper when I felt like it. I'd mostly read, bike, and run a lot. I'd kayak a lot too. I'd secretly be into D&D. I'd live in the coastal Redwoods of California by myself, writing all day in my bedroom with wall-to-wall windows. I'd be a geneticist and a part time writer.

I would have wings and more flexible fingers and a family that encourages my music. Also a slightly more responsible brain.
