JCur
I'm 20 years old and I am trying to figure out who I am. I have been doing some serious thinking about my sexuality, and I have come to the following conclusions about myself. 1. I watch far too much porn and masturbate far too much. 2. I often hit on girls when drunk. 3. I have no burning desire to have sex, I am very happy with my current 'dry' spell. 4. Sex is massively underwhelming for me and I don't enjoy it all that much. I suppose a metaphor for my sex drive is like owning a car that you start up in your garage but never drive anywhere. Am I asexual? I would love some advice.
flyco
Welcome! An asexual is someone who never experiences sex attraction, Whether masturbation or sex has nothing to do with sexuality .Sexual attraction does not mean sexual desire, you said you didn't enjoy sex, maybe you are asexual . The definition of sexual attraction may be a bit vague. If you see someone then you fantasy her naked, that would be sexual.Anyway,You can stay here to explore yourself. Identifying stuff is hard.
Lichley
Yeah it is quite hard. The important part is just staying true to yourself and how you feel. Take your time and dont ripush into things. I'm sure you'll find the label you're looking for.
