If you tell someone you're ace and they say, "you just need a good screw" or "you just need to a good lay", PULL OUT THE APPROPRIATE ITEM AND SAY "I've got this/these one(s), and it/they do the job just fine. Say this with with the utmost seriousness, do not give any inclination you understood their sentence. Perhaps ask if they can recommend a better brand of screw or flavor of chips.
