It might be according to the wiki but it honestly doesn't benefit this discussion to refer to everything you read on that wiki as a pharaphilia. Some might view it as a paraphillia and others don't.Everyone experiences their orientation in a different way, that's something you gotta keep in mind if you really want to reach something with this thread. I don't feel it's okay to discuss my orientation with you if you keep on saying it's a paraphillia thus treat it as such.There really is no point in that. Me, myself and zie pointed out the exact same thing i'm telling you right now...that you painting everything as a paraphillia as you read it on that wiki is just...odd.

 

Point is that if you really want to discuss something, you really shoudln't dismiss the orientations/fetishes/kinks listed in the OP as a paraphillia, especially if your main goal is to reach those who indentify as the things you've listed in the OP.You just called my orientation a paraphillia  as per what you've read in the wiki and expect me to have an open discussion with you, I honestly fail to see the reasoning behind that logic aswell in where this logic would benefit this discussion between us too, this completely contradicts the entire point of the discussion in general.

Uhh, the OP was doing nothing of the sort?  Let's stop taking offense where obviously none was intended.

 

Paraphilias aren't inherently something BAD, they're just outside the norm.  If you choose to automatically view them as something inherently bad, that's kind of your own problem, not the OP's.

I guess I'm more a grey ace than just ace because I seem to have some fetishes or whatever it is. I guess some parts of autochoris fit me, too, except that my sex drive is so low that I barely notice it + I really don't have a wish to act upon my fantasies. 

I have said it before, I consider myself technoromantic to some extent because the idea of dating a robot feels right to me. I think I may have some robot fetish,  too.

I'm also fond of knives, respirators and gas masks, maybe it also reaches the point of a fetish. not entirely sure, but I don't deny the possibility.

in many cases looking at cybergoth men causes some body reaction in me. I'm not sure if it already counts as feeling sexual attraction to someone, so if any of you knows the answer and can help me, I'll be glad.

Abnormal =/= bad.  It literally just means not normal, outside the norm.  If you choose to interpret that as an inherently negative thing, that's your own issue.

 

Also, I've seen multiple variants of this word's definition.  One of them is simply "any abnormal sexual behaviour, sexual anomaly, or deviation" and it's pretty safe to assume this is at least relatively close to what the OP thinks it means, considering they do not seem to interpret paraphilias as inherently negative things.

This is a touchy subject for many, since many sexuals conflate sexual thoughts with sexual fantasies, and sexual fantasies with eventual intentions.

 

Many of the listed paraphilias describe illegal or what some would consider immoral behavior.

 

Talking about this stuff could conceivably expose a person to prosecution.

Adding to the semantic debate above I have heard of extra classification of harmful paraphilias as parasitic paraphilias.

They say that people with repressed sexualities are more likely to end up kinky, and I suspect placing the label 'asexual' on myself led to the development of such inclinations. Do I regret it? No. One of my paraphilias almost turned into a fetish, but completely cutting myself off from all related material meant I was able to go back to other stuff, both vanilla and non.

No two people are alike. I prefer getting to know someone, one-to-one, without judgment and with a sincere interest in relating to that person on any level.

 

Modern porn sites have got sexual arousal down to a science, but I still can't find exactly what I want on them.
