Using the Internet Archive Wayback Machine, it seems that the first AVEN Digest I remember is from January 2013. I pieced together my asexuality around five years ago in high school; I stumbled across the Wikipedia page while hitting the "random page" button to avoid doing homework. I later discovered AVEN, and since then, I've returned on occasion to the forums to see what other people said about questions I had. However, I was always too shy and self-conscious to create an account and preferred to let other people do the talking. That is, until now. About me: I'm a university student in mathematics who dabbles in writing. I'm a heteromantic asexual who is out; most of my friends know. I even have an ace friend or two.
